Post Pacifiers: Noseband replace cheekpieces
I see that in SO6, the Noseband has replaced Cheekpieces in the Race Horse pacifier list.

So can someone confirm if I am correct that

1 Blinkers Help Focus a horse
2 Visor helps liven/motivate lazy types
3 Nosebands Pacify/Calm excited types

??

I put on a noseband and the formcard gave it a "c" for cheekpieces still. Most likely they all have the same effect but I would like to think Cheekpieces/noseband help to relax. Visor is for a better rally and Blinkers are for improved speed.

I assume putting these items on your horse has advantages as suggested above, are there disadvantages and when do you elect to use them? For instance should I be putting a visor on all my sprinters because it "increases speed"? I would have thought, only for under-performing horses, who have not reached potential? Anyone got this all worked out?
