Picking 3 winners was an outstanding effort - your luck was in Sprinters - I am finding with my sprinters that they show not much at all at 2yo (in fact I am wondering if it's even worth running them as 2yo) - as 3yo they start to show something but a little inconsistent BUT when they reach 4yo that's when they seem to hit their stride and at 5yo they are peaking. I think sprinters are more of a waiting game - almost on par with stayers. It seems the quick results come from milers up to 2400m. They have the stamina for the big 2yo sprints and then develop nicely into 3yo classic races. Looks like we are both working on sprinters at the moment Good luck, Josh

Re: Pontypool Trial Races And Lucky 63 Competition.
I had none for my mid season appearance in the last league so there is improvement, but my best two just got soundly beaten in the trials so work to be done, been breeding every half decent game horse I can find, but the current 2yo crop look pants , might get more change out of the next batch but not expecting my target group win to be in the sprints. Can't crack distance stayers on the flat either.

Re: Pontypool Trial Races And Lucky 63 Competition.
I had two winners I am stronger in the jumps and Toba looked good but for some reason I don't have it after 5yo and not in any of my ttf files so looks like he came from a flat game and didn't seem good enough to transfer into game pool lesson for me always trial often if I did I might and saved Toba in a ttf file to breed has for Clare Grogan (named after lead singer of Altered Images) for me to get a 2yo winner even in a small field is a surprise and perhaps my flat team might be better next season.
