Stu the game changed long before we even had a first season in so6, at first the horses ran to far apart ( there were miles between the leaders and back markers) and mark changed that and then he done something to runners running wide, they still lose to much ground. The race kit is the same as the ck kit but just keeps the form. I've never used it to trial because it will give u the same results, all over the place. It's the game and we all have to live with the things that doesn't work.

The only race of the week I didn't want to win, NH race 14 the Moores Millions and I won it. My best National horse was running in it.

I just wanted her to fall at the 1st fence. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

At least the jockey on my 2nd National horse did as he was told in race 18, he fell at the 11th fence.

One winner in the NH today but a lot of 2nds and 3rds on the flat and over fences.

Congrats to all the winners and placers.

A group 1 2nd for Enping Equus today in the big 1m in Aus, ran a cracker leading from the front an I'm sure she'll pick up any decent 1m1 races now. I seem to have bred a load of front runners accidentally while trying to breed 'Race Handy' horses. Not too bad though as a few have run better than I might have expected. A lot of work for me to do in my trials though it seems as this seems to be where I mess things up. Hopefully be sorted for SO7 where I can start from a level playing field again, this just to get me some practice for now.

I did have a few horses run in the wrong races, and horses entered in races that didn't take part at all, I'll put a thread up on this though. Congrats all winners

Good finish to the week with 3 winners all on the flat which is encouraging, taking a G1H with Thing and winning my own race particularly pleasing. NH team chipped in with 3 sodding seconds :) but remain ever competitive.

The only mod I use from the stock game is the percentage grid for the horse bars, and the silks and courses upload for the league. Everything is out the box.

I never trial on dirt, and remain convinced that consistency is all that matters for trials, give me the horse that comes top 3 ten times over the one that wins 5.

Only 2x 5th a 6th and 2x 7th in the big races yesterday but finally very happy to get the Queen of the Turf G1 1m won by Thousand Sophies, who started her brave sprint more than 2f out.
Should be in the mix for 1000 Guineas.

Congrats all winners!

A very Good Week for my Jumps team taking 5 races winning the Haldon Gold cup on day 3 was pleasing as was St David day on day 1 I breed 2milers with 3milers and I think this as give me a better 2m 4f horse which is the distance I struggle with over fences and a big sorry to Doug for heading his horse with eyes to the right on the line in the Hunters Chase this was a min trip for him and needs 3m 5f.

1 Win on the Flat with Banker of the week Greys My Colour who will step up to 6f which is his best trip and might well still be well Handicapped and a good second in the G1H from Circus Plume in all my jumps team look better this season already but my flat Team may struggle.

I Know the schedule is a fine balancing act i was just curious
how many runners a very active lower tier trainer has this week

I have 21 horses who are yet to win a race on the flat this week I
have entries in 16/38 races on the flat was curious to know how many
races a lower tier trainer is entered in or has the chance to run in
this week

Also on the national hunt front there does not seem many opportunities for 3 mile
novice hurdlers seems to be far more available races for 2 mile novices maybe we can add
a 3mile novice hurdle between week 2 and 5 - No 3 mile novice hurdle between weeks 2 and 6

There are 16 races rated as Listed or above this week. There are two maiden races which are open to all and 20 hcp races rated at 110 and below. There are four races rated at 110 which at this stage a lot of the bigger trainers probably have a horse or two that can sneak into them. So potentially 22 races for Group trainers to enter into.

From my point of view as a lower trainer - I'm not worrying about 110 hcps as they are too hot for my horses so that leaves me 16 races. There is a G1 hcp race which is the Sydney Cup 16f so might enter that because it's a hcp and it is an Australian race :-)
