Post A quick question
I'm just wondering what you guys would advise to do in my position now. I have a stallion which is natural at 1m4f and I'm currently breeding my 1m4f division but he's about a length slower than my 1m2f stallion over the trip.

I was wondering what you'd all advise, to breed off the faster horse even though it's doubtful his offspring will get the trip or continue with the slightly slower stallion and just start a little further back with his times?

Post Re: A quick question
Tough call i have had this too at several distances
my worry is lge wise in a fully blown lge race would they stay the whole distance i suspect not

& thats why i would rather breed with a genuine 1m4f horse even though he is slightly slower

or breed your 1m2 stallion with a 1m5f mare or 1m6f mare they have to be top quality though
you could get some good results they will produce a 1m3f speedy horse that should stay 1m4 or just a genuine top class 1m4f horse

Post Re: A quick question
thanks PJ, I've decided to breed the 1m2f horse with my longer distance mares and I bought in a longer distance stallion to breed with my 1m2f mares to hopefully give me 1m4f+ mares to breed with, got 3 seperate games going now so really hoping it brings me some decent horses
