Post Re: NH STABLE PREVIEW
Name: Kevcon
Stable: Anything But Perfect Stables

NHC History: I have taken part in the jumps league since its inception and have won and placed in numerous graded events, both hurdles and chases, including Grade 1s. I have also managed to win a race or two at the Cheltenham festival and would like to have at least one winner there this season. My biggest handicap wins have been the Hennessy Gold Cup and Irish Grand National.

Season Targets: To win a race, any race, at the Cheltenham Festival would be great. I would also like to win another grade 1 hurdle or chase, and a big handicap. One of the Nationals would be nice! If I end the season with 20 winners, I'll be well chuffed. :D

Hurdlers:
Mr Prospector (5yo S) - bred to be a sprinter but much better over timber and was impressive in trials from 2m-2m6f. Season target is the John Smiths Champion Hurdle at Aintree.
Irig (5yo S) - another quality hurdler from 2m-2m4f. Could be a Champion Hurdle prospect.
Golden Egg (5yo M) - best on soft ground up to 2m3f. Will probably stick to handicaps.
The Bloody Nine (5yo S) - a late addition to the team. Will be aimed at nov hurdles and h'caps.
Fizz Buzz (5yo M) - handicapper who will be aimed at the Coral Cup.
No Culture (5yo S) - ran well in pre-season trial despite racing too keen. Needs to settle better to be competitive.
Sonic Glory (5yo M) - strong traveller and very good hurdler around 2m6f but doesn't quite last home over 3m. Waabesh Graded Hdle is the target.
Sonar (6yo S) - has been my best staying hurdler for ages but not sure if he can cut it at graded level.
Downton Abbey (6yo M) - a surprise package in my trials. Target is the Pertemps Final
Bat In The Belfry (5yo S) - pace pusher who is best on a soft surface. Will try and find a handicap for him.
Fictional Account (5yo M) - another 3m handicapper.
Blue Peter (4yo S) - juvenile hurdler but doesn't look a very good one.

Hurdling Stars: Mr Prospector, Sonic Glory, Irig

Chasers:
Humble Duty (6yo M) - good run in pre season trials, ran better than expected. No firm plans for her yet, but will probably stick to h'caps.
Yolk (5yo M) - another late addition to my squad. Will be running in nov chases and h'caps.
Worth (5yo M) - pace pusher who is best at around 2m2f-2m4f. Might be able to pick up a h'cap if she gets a soft lead.
Mr Benn (6yo S) - decent performer in my trials from 2m-2m5f. Has lots of options but need to find his best trip before mapping out a program. If he stays, the Ryanair at Cheltenham would be a possibility.
Fiddlers Anonymous (5yo M) - ran well in trials from 2m-2m4f. I might start this one in novice chases and see how things go. The Arkle and Jewson Novices Chase at Cheltenham are both possible targets at this stage.
Pinnochio (6yo S) - 2m6f handicapper.
Rudd Threetrees (5yo S) - best at around 2m6f-3m. The Foxhunters over the national fences is the most likely target.
Rob Roy (6yo S GB) very talented gamebred chaser from 2m6f-3m. Probably not up to Grade 1 class but could be capable of picking up a Grade 2 or 3. Something like the Rite of Passage Chase in week 8 or the Maeglin Ancalime Chase in week 11.
Name Of The Game (6yo S) - solid eforts over 3m but the poor performances of my runners in the league trials mean he probably has quite a bit to find. Will keep to h'caps.
Lord Marshal Kroy (6yo S) - another who performed well in trials around 3m+ but may struggle in the league.
Flying Boat (6yo M) - capable performer at best and probably my best 3m2f chaser. I can't see him being good enough for a tilt at the Gold Cup but the Hennessy and Rowland Meyrick are possible targets.
Lets Have Cartoons (6yo M) - races handy around 3m2f and will most likely stick to h'caps.
Broken Record (9yo S) - handles most types of ground and usually jumps well. Likely to stick to h'caps and will be aimed at one or more of the Nationals.
Panic Buy (9yo M) - prefers softer ground and is best at around 3m6f-4m. Ryans Aliceva II Chase over the National fences is the long term target.
Music Hall (6yo M) - best at around 3m5f. Welsh and Irish Nationals are on the agenda for this one.
Uncle Bing (8yo S) - out and out stayer, Grand National hope.

Chasing Stars: Mr Benn, Flying Boat.

Post Re: NH STABLE PREVIEW
UPDATED TODAY & Final Team of 27

Name - Pjrhodes1970
Stable - Curragh View Kildare Ireland
Overview - Flat trainer who holds NH licence his team made up of horses that
never made the cut in the flat world
Trainer buys cheap cast offs from O'Brien Bolger & Weld Yards
very inexperienced trainer at this level but has stepped up his breeding and trialing
of late so looking to make a small impact in LGE
Targets - Expectations have changed since the trials i am now taking the NHC seriously
have done some serious trialing and am happy what i have unearthed
Could be a fairly strong 2mile division
Stable Stars -
Di Vinci Masterpiece & Anne Of Troy
& Luftaza dominated my bumper trials the 6yo looks a bit of a star

15 trials per distance

2 Mile Bumper
Luftanza 6yo S
Rhodes Air

Beats NHC Trial Winner Air Africanna with ease Rhodes Air great flat miler and trialed well in bumpers (ADDED)

2 Mile Chase
1st Anne Of Troy 42 pts 3 trial wins
2nd Bean Hustler 40 pts 3 trial wins
3rd Pan Pacific 37 pts 3 trial wins
4th Jazz Tour 33 pts 3 trial wins

(Rhodes Gretna won NHC Trial on sunday but was way down the field in my new trials and has not made the cut )

2 Mile 1f 4YO Hurdler
Deli Arkle 72 pts 7 trial wins

Dominated my 4yo Triumph Hurdle Trials seems not to be ground dependent even though best results came on heavy going

2 Mile Hurdle
1st Di Vinci Masterpiece 67 pts 6 trial wins
2nd Carry On Doctor 57 pts 4 trial wins
3rd Tommerhawk Princess 52 pts 3 trial wins
4th Carry On Camping 34 pts 2 trial wins

Di Vinci Dominated the trials its funny because my 2mile chasers ran quicker times for a chase than my Hurdlers run for a hurdle
seem a decent buch

2 Mile 5F Chase
1st Toforverve 51 pts 6 trial wins
2nd Artistic Artist 51 pts 5 trial wins
3rd Kitson Basset 31 pts 2 trial wins
4th Master of the Arts 30 pts 2 trial wins

Not to Sure about this distance very close trials especially tough battle between top 2 Toforverve came out on top more wins

2 Mile 5F Hurdle
1st Carry Bee Ann 58 pts 5 trial wins
2nd Washington Queen 50 pts 5 trial wins
3rd Poker Hustle 43 pts 3 trial wins
4th Vizart De La Marie (was already in team)

Only 3 made the grade here the 4th ranked was low in the points these 3 shared the trials between them Carry Bee Ann solid

3 Mile Hurdle
1st Aintree Dreams 63 pts 6 trial wins
2nd Flemminstar 36 pts 3 trial wins

Not too sure of the quality of the 3 mile hurdlers

3 Mile 2 Chase
1st Governor of Cheltenham 62 pts 8 trial wins
2nd Whispering Ted Low 59 pts 3 trial wins
3rd Criterium Diploma 36 pts 1 trial wins

I know I reset my jumps horses using 989 but I can't remember if I changed their ratings to 100. Can Leon or Paul check and if neccessary change the ratings. or let me know if its ok to delete my horses so I can get the ratings sorted and re-upload.

thanx

Can't check the horse files in the database only in the racekit. So need to download all the horse files from the website to check your ratings. So won't be able to do it now as trying to sort out other things for the league. One of which includes writing a program to copy horse files from the server onto my computer. Once this is done I can check them

thanks leon.

if it makes things easier, I can delete them and re-upload. it should only take me a few minutes. I just don't want to delete and find I can't upload them again.
