Another 0.4s off. Impressive :). Looks like the 12f races next season are going to be a lot hotter.

2:29:2 is the odd run if I'm being honest. Kinda like 1 out of 10 trials or less.

This is typical with slower pacemakers.

Bottom line - when you're talking .2s on average runs I'm sure you'll win some of the races.

You have 7 horses running under .6, when I hit .5 which isnt every time, the next closest is usually .7 and a few at .8 and .9, it dosent sound like a huge gap but its actually monumental. If anyone is to challenge the level you are at they will need to find that freak game horse because breeding the same lines over and over it is impossible to close the gap significantly.

anyone else notice that when you break your ck best time its only by 0.01 to 0.004 secs
i remember in so4 you could with a bit of luck take up to a quarter of a second off your best times
does not appear to happen in so5
so any progress you make its tiny
so 0.30 secs is alot of time to make up and as doc says nearly impossible

Think I've shown that you can break your CK time by lots. I know my 12f horses went from 2:30:3-6 to 2:29:7-9 in one generation that's some .6s.

I'd guess for me that each generation takes about 0.05s off so two generations for 0.1s though there is a huge overlap in times but usually after about 4 generations I see faster winning times in general. Then again this was for awhile back. Currently I'm only 1 or 2 generations on from my league team at most distances (at 1m6 I haven't even bred any new horses) though there are some (1m and 1m4f) that are 3-4 generations on.
