 Jumps Team Progress
Started trialing a few to build my jumps team Been breeding from bumper stock had 60 odd to trial have not found a better bumper horse yet but i see they have produced some super 2mile chasers i know times mean nothing in NHC but when the Queen Mother Lge Winner is way down the field it quite exciting that i have bred quite a few better and this is only semi final 1 Monssaratt looks a bit of a freak to be honest i have no idea how quick the times are i don't use pacemakers i will keep this page updated for any 1 intrested in my progress going to spend alot more time on NHC team this time

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
I can give u my quickest time for 2miles on good ground.
It's Mystic Music 3.40.54. She was good to start the season but her form was bad by the end of this season. I cant make out if that time is slow or she's never run to form in the league. She been a disappointment.
I use u pacemaker Baltacha for my two mile hurdle/chase trials.
I'm having problems with my chasers because I breed with Twin Oaks/Greenbank Park and they breed front runners most/if not all and i'm having problems running races because they all want to front run and the races turn into a farce.

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
I have never used pacemakers in Nh many reasons a mistake /blunder will alter times to me its pointless in NH IMO I always use my League team against new Horses that how I will know if my yards improving.

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
Monsseratt is about to turn 6 next season so the 6yo version could be even better time will tell I have noticed that she can get lit up in races and struggles to settle when she does she wins hoping another year maturity will help Triumph Hurdle trials tomorrow will see if any of the new batch can beat this years champ JUNIPER TREE

My god Paul! When I said I was starting on my league team slowly I wasn't joking! I've made it through about 8 seasons in the game and have breed maybe 20 horses, 1 of which I have exported (fortunately she's miles better than my 4yo hurdlers this year, but I think she'll be a better 5yo+ horse). What you're doing is not working on it slowly! How do you do it?!

End of the Flat season helps so plenty of spare time my website is low maintenance this time of year Really i had a massive head start at these distances with solid lge performance to trial against the fun begins when i get to the 3 mile plus distances and have to start from scratch Grand National wise i have Grand National Queen to breed to hope she will provide me with Stayer from 3m5f up to 4m4f My other stayer Tangibal trialed well but has stank the lge up and has been poor so doubt i can even consider breeding to him think the 3 mile 3m2f to 3 mile 4f i will struggle because i will be depending on game breds and thats never a good thing

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
DONT YOU JUST HATE WHEN YOU MAKE A TYPO NAMING A HORSE (and it turns out to be a CK star apologies for the name (Imoerialistic) supposed to be immoralisticWell 2 Mile hurdle trials were not great not surprisingly as have not bred to any decent hurdlers yet these are all Bumper cast offs but managed to unearth these 2 Cheltenham Bumper absolutely dominated the trials and was rarely out the top 5 and considering all these trial finals have 30 runners thats some consistency not sure how quick that is but as i have said b4 times mean nothing its about trying to recreate lge conditions Imoerialistic could turn out to be a decent Novice/Juvenile/Handicapper not the most of consistent horses & i think i might find better in the future Back to my Quest to find a bumper horse that can beat Cheltonian i have had to bring in the daddy of my bumper stars Cheltonian/Air Bermuda/Luftanzia/Rhodes Air was hoping not to have to rely on him for this season but ah well back to the well
