Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
My CK wasn't working yesterday so I just had a look at the results.
A couple of good placings with decent prize money. De Soto and Flyers Wing came third in the Irish GN and Bet 365 gold cup respectively.
Only 1 week to go, what are we all going to do?

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R1 Tiny Feet ? R3 Song And Dance (6th) - ran well for a long way and in front jumping the last, but faded badly on the run-in. R4 Glint Of Gold (9th) - was hoping for a good run but that was shockingly bad. R5 Duty Calls (4th) - trip was too far and is a better chaser than hurdler. ran ok. R6 Mr Prospector (5th) - expected a lot better than that. really poor run. R7 Northern Soul (9th) - ran well for first 3m2f then stopped, walked the last 3f. R8 Project Rage (6th) - ran ok. beaten by better horses. R9 Costume Fetish (9th) - a chance to run over her best trip and is a well beaten last. dreadful run. R10 Time Charter (1st) - the way my horses were running I feared the worst but she managed to get her head in front where it mattered.
A pretty poor day for my stable with Time Charter being the only highlight. congrats to all winners and placers.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
A good start to the final week
1 x 1st 2 x 2nds 3 x 3rds
The one dispointment was race 8 where I fancied my horse to do well but she fell at the 2nd hurdle. After 5 2nd places I was hoping for one better.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Just one winner today(the rest was poor) but it was the most important one, i'm glad I brought Greenbank Park out of retirement. He fell in our gold cup but he made up for it by winning the French version.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Bullfighter (7th) - Tailed off badly Zod ii (7th) - Outpaced and too much weight One World (4th) - Good run in auteuil handicap De Soto (10th) - Not good enough for the Grande Steeple Chase Estoril (5th) - Just couldn't quite hold on with his big weight Makng Champs (4th) - Decent result over an inadequate trip
Not a bad day, a couple of decent results.
Well done to all winners and placers

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Its never a bad day when you have a winner (shoeless girl in race 19), but the rest ran poor races, even although some of them placed.
1 x 1st 1 x 3rd 2 x 5ths

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R11 Humble Spirit (12th) - finished last which just about sums up his season. should have been retired after week 5. R13 Sonic Glory (4th) - barely stays 3m so really pleased to pick up some prize money. R14 Frankenfurter (2nd) - good run. snatched 2nd close home but had no chance with Davy's winner Cape Classic who was far too good. R17 Silent Running (3rd) - jockey went for home far too early which cost him the race. R18 Champagne Diva (3rd) - ran ok. beaten by better horses. R19 Show Boat (11th) - not good enough and needs a longer trip anyway. R20 Inconsequential (7th) - solid effort under a big weight.
congrats to all winners and placers.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Musanid (10th) - A couple of late errors killed his chances Zod World (7th) - Ran on well after a horrible blunder at halfway Jet Lag (Fell) - Fell late on when tailed off Theodore (UR) - Shame he didn't complete, was expecting a big run Parsons Fancy (1st) - A win in Auteuil from one of my worst horses. Granted it was only a 0-120 race but this has shocked. Delighted, first overseas win. Macho Man (7th) - Trip too short and outpaced but still a good run from way out of the handicap Galaxy Role (5th) - Struggled off top weight, beat just 2 home Call The Police (6th) - Just outside the money, good run Zod Meister (5th) - Excellent display, thought he would finish last Another win, hopefully I can finish off with another tomorrow. Well done to all winners
