Post Screen Capture in windows 8
HI

I have just upgraded to windows 8 and the screen capture (shift PrtScn) just captures my desktop, not the SO6 screen.

How do you capture screenshots in SO6 under windows 8?

How do you run in windowed mode?

SO6 only gives full screen mode as standard.

I have tried adding -window to the program run command, no luck.

The options menu on the main game screen gives you various viewing options, including several window mode options.

The only viewing options on my game is full screen, no windowed options. Is there something you have to do at install time to set up windowed options.

What is your maximum desktop resolution?

I usually run in 1024 x 768 but an option of 2048 x 1536 is offered, but I have never tried it.

When I change screen resolution to 1280 x 1024 a windowed mode is available.

Thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

Ran it in windowed mode and captured a screen.

Small problem, the crispness of the windowed image is not as good as running SO6 in full screen mode.
