I've installed 2.241 and so far in my game have seen Remington which seems fine and Pleasanton which is missing the rails. Haven't seen the other tracks yet. Will tell you how they look.

Presque Isle looks fantastic! Great job!

Rillito looks good but I'm getting a strange thing - The rail posts are there but there is no rail. There is a shadow from a rail but no rail.

I'll look into them. I can't test any tracks myself since I m game is broken. I am unable to get a US game working sadly. I'll try re-exporting and see if that works.

sorry being a bit lazy as could just read the thread and see what this is about but (a) I don't understand much about computers/downloands etc and (b) im lazy! but is this just a graphic extra course thingy or is it a schedule as well and if it is a schedule does it contain National Hunt one and how do I download it!

There is a schedule included with this. It is a US flat schedule. There is no National Hunt schedule. There are also many US and Canada courses that I have made. The schedule itself is included with the first download link (and there is an update to it located a few posts back).

ok cheers sounds like a good update mod thingy might use it at sometime but not now as Im concentrating on NH

I am having trouble with the new silks in 2.24 update. Everytime I download them the silks correspond with the correct owner in the Owners standings and when viewing their profile. But, when I go into a raceday, the silks will show up as silks that came with the original game. For instance, Martin Schwartz's silks will show up with his blue and orange silks, but when I am in race day it will show up as silks 28. All the other silks pair together, up until 119/519 (Besilu Stables). Any help???

Mred26, did you make sure you started a new game? You need a new game file in order for the silks to work.

Today, I worked on Hollywood Park. I decided that since I have no idea when the next pack will come out, and I didn't want to withhold this from y'all, I would release it as a stand alone track. So here it is! The famous Hollywood Park in all of its glory! There are no races in game for it (yet). I will add those later.
I think that this might be my best course I've ever made, but that is for you to decide. Enjoy!

yes, I did start a new game (multiple times) and it still did not work...

My suggestions are to try redownlaoding the silks or (if that doesn't work) zip up the folders that contain the silks as well as the owners.dat file and post it in this thread. I will take a look at it and see if I can find the problem.

Looking forward to seeing Hollywood Park! Since I'm new to the game, I assume the only way to view it is to add a race to the showcase and schedule? I already replaced the "Betfair Hollywood Park" graphic with a plain old "Hollywood Park" logo (for old time's sake!) Never liked the whole Betfair thing, especially since they changed the DRF chart abbreviation from the classic "Hol" to "BHP" after Betfair took over...sacrilege.

Many fond memories of the Inglewood track...first racetrack visit ever in late June 1977...couldn't get tickets to see Seattle Slew the next week, however, and was disappointed...saw Affirmed and John Henry race there, plus many other great horses of the late 70's / early 80's. It was a great time to be a horse racing fan and Hollywood Park was the place to be!

You won't need to add a race to the schedule and showcase. It will appear in game eventually as one of the daily tracks. You can also use the kit creator to view it.

Just watched a race at Hollywood Park - fantastic job! Very realistic and definitely a great tribute to the track (with crowds, too!) Love seeing The Forum in the background - that was THE place to see concerts back in the day! Luckily, after being somewhat dormant for years, new ownership renovated the place and I saw a few shows there last year, just like old times. Too bad Hollywood Park could never have the same kind of revival...but thanks to you it lives on in the game!

Quick question - I noticed a new game patch is available. After installing it, do I need to re-install your Base Mod and patches, or can I simply copy back the 3D, data and gfx folders containing all of your changes? Thanks!
