I was impressed with winning a Gold Cup as a 12yo.



Beaten into 3rd in the Gold Cup as a 13yo, I thought we might had seen the best of him. Not so.



Ran another fine race to finish 2nd as a 14 year old. Was his best behind him?

Just getting better like a fine wine.



The Gold Cup was a warm up race, after the Gold Cup he wins a Group 1 in France at 14yo.

After his 14yo season we must surely have seen the best of him.

Not so fast he was still improving





Three races as a 15yo and 2 group 1 wins and he fell in the Gold Cup.

He came out as a 16yo and was still showing some sparkle.



His first start as a 16yo and another Group 1, ran just once more and fell. His trainer was going to retire him but had a change of heart after showing some sparkle on the gallops.






His fist start as a 17yo and he was beaten into second in a group 1. Was he going out a loser or was there one more race in him.

There was to be 1 more run in his Favourite race in france.



And he goes out in style, his final ever race and he wins it as a 17yo and in a group 1 race as well.



What a race horse.

Thanks. I used Grays/Simpleminds French showcase races and I changed some of the games races( not enough long distance races) and I like to have more better races at the end of the jump season. I run my game from October to Mid July.

A total accident, I was waiting for my second lot of horses to get through the breeding barn and I decided to try to win the Grand National with him but he fell all four times he ran in it. I looked at his bar at 10 and it was nearly full so I kept racing him and I gave up on winning the National so at 12yo I thought I would go for the Gold Cup and he won and he just kept on winning and I think he reached his peak at 15 when he won his races easily. Just a total one off.

If( and I'm not sure there will be one) there is a league then I've got to put him in my team, he deserves it and even if he's not great in Ck I will still find a place for him.

Superb achievement, a grade 1 winner at 17 is brilliant. well done!
