Hi everyone, thanks in advance for your time.

We own horses, we love horses. We had a PC racing sim (where you managed stables/jockeys/etc) back in the late '90s, which was immensely enjoyed by my wife and me.

Now, we have the bug again. We do not care for jockey mode or betting, but we love the stable management...hiring jockeys, acquiring horses from farms, breeding, picking up horses on claims, etc. The game we played was HARD...you started with $10K, and it took a while to really expand your stable. By a while, I mean 50+ hours easy to acquire 10 horses or so.

I am looking for something like that. The game we had was very customizable, kept insanely good historical records as to your (and the remainder of the horse database) horses' stats including winnings/jockey/race length/race date/weather/blinkers on-off/age/injuries/etc.

I am hoping that this game can be its' replacement...as much as I would love a newer game, we have fond memories of the other game...but cannot seem to remember the name (it has been 15+ years)...

If anyone can just validate that this is THE GAME we probably want to pick up, I would greatly love to hear some users' input.

I reckon you had Stablemaster game years ago and I believe it was created also by Mark and Co as this one is, all i can tell you is there's none better than this on the market, they dont even come close
