Here is one. This just give your horses fast jumps which is quite useful. The good jumps stat in the training screen is the one that matters.

One of my horses from a while back. This is the only image I have I would need to go back and load a backed up game to get the image, but she also had a full fast jumps bar. She passed on her stats to all her progeny

My thinking going into getting a bunch of jumps horses was to get all of those stats as high as possible. Using my already powerful flat transfers to work with. Just about to set forth with what I've settled on.
Another note - I'm playing the default UK schedule. The Irish and French horses always seem to be beasts. I have a hard time beating them but do sometimes.

the overseas horses can be decent to breed with. Follow them in game if you see something decent as you have to click every horse to see what graded races they have won and try not to breed with firm ground horses

Yay! 2 months in and I am still trying to get my first breeding pair to take. Please Mark we need the option to turn off unsuccessful pairings. This bugs the hell out of me.

3 straight months of trying and no success! What an annoying waste of time.

go to 2 days left. Save game. If it doesn't take exit game without saving and try again ghostzapper74 wrote: leonvr wrote: the overseas horses can be decent to breed with. Whats annoying is a soft ground and soft ground producing a firm ground horse, never happens the other way round. Have loads of soft ground horses and some very soft but that breeds out quickly. In my Nh game if they like firm they don't get bred with

Anyone notice since the last patch that all horses in the CK doesn't have a rating, does that mean we don't have to change it before horses get downloaded in to tom. Have I missed something!

Have I missed something! Yes a bit annoying as I just look for the ratings on results screen when I trial new exports against against my best. Now I have to give them a rating so I can pick them out more easily.
