Hey mates!

After a long break from Starters Orders 6 I decided to start again but to play it in another way.
Like most players I love it to breed and to get better and better horses but at a certain point the game becomes boring when I win every group race in the world.

So to get a more real life experience I decided to play without the usual way with breeding. I only buy some 2 yo from the auctions at the beginning (3x50k 3x around 250k) and sell those which have under 50% potential. Then I try to have as much success as possible with these horses. Should I get a G1 winner I will put him in the breeding barn but I will only breed based on race results not based on max potential etc, so I don't get those super horses and the comp stays competitve.
Since I'm from Germany it is realistic that I don't have always the world record horses, but when there comes this jewel this will be more exciting!

Money to start with comes from betting (Black Caviar/Frankel).

Maybe an idea to get back the race excitement and not only to wait when your horse runs away from the field!?

Have you raced your horses in the League at all?

I played online league in SO5, did last so long this time that I lost interest. Have only horses which are from a SO6 version which shouldn't work after all these updates.

There will be a new league starting up in the Autumn - this weekend is the last week of the current league - so if you're interested you will have time to get a new stable together

OK, started to play like I wrote and reached to get 3-4 G1/G2/G3 winner but after some seasons I have to say it's just to addicting to start the breeding to get these super nice horses, so I play the usual way and have to say it's still this super nice addicting game.
Think I will enter the next online league in autumn, still put some horses into the game pool to start a jump game soon. Starters Orders got me again.
