I have replays turned off so I can only describe what happened. An AI trainers jockey stood up in the stretch and thrust his fist into the air celebrating victory. Not so fast - My beast sprinter ran him down in the stretch and won by a length. As my horse was crossing the finish line the other jockey was still holding his fist in the air.
This proves to me at least that you can indeed beat that "sure winner fist in the air" horse on rare occasions. I had this happen before but the sure winner I beat that day was the other half of my entry.
Anyone else ever seen a fist in the air winner get beat?

Yes happened to me twice. My horse flashed home to win and another time my horse flashed home to score a deadheat.

It's happened to me too with the most memorable being when my jockey raised his arm in celebration of what looked like being an easy victory in a big sprint handicap only to get swamped in the shadow of the post and not even finish in the first 5
