 New season
G'day folks I've decided for *numerous time* to ditched out my save game to create more exciting season for myself and hopefully to everyone who may check this thread. This time i want to replicate Horse Trainer " Bryce Stanaway" journey as a trainer in the game. Some of Australians may know who he is. Based at Torquay, Bryce Stanaway started his career in 1999 to present. Bryce has a unique training methods, such: - Refuse giving the horse legal drugs. - Enjoying his time watching his horses improving from maiden to Benchmark-58 (Equivalent to Class 7 in UK) after their 30th+ starts - Spelled majority of the horses on the float. Though, Bryce popularity rocketed because of his best horse on the stable, Crafty Cruiser. .....and also scratching his horses on a race day after Pakenham Race Course cafeteria refuses to give him free sandwiches on the trainer lounge. Quote: So what I'll put rules and restriction within my game such:
- Won't able to gamble - Racing only within state (VICTORIA) or within 400KM. - Not able to entered a horse to a race in other state or nation unless the horse won Group 3 at the very least - Won't be able to entered Listed races unless have won Class 1. - Wont be able to breed with my own colt/stallion - Won't be able to breed with Group 1 later on - Limit on buying horses at the Thursday Auction - $20,000.
Since my computer sucks, i wont be able to record because frame rate really bad. Unless you folks could give me some ideas such another way to report my game progress without writing it down and pictures. Quote: Ideas would greatly appreciated in order to shape up this game progress and possibly to make it even more challenging.
The game should be very challenging and every single jockey feedback are crucial how the horses shapes later on in the future. P.S.: Bryce bought Crafty Cruiser for $10,000AUD and have reaching $835,091 in Prizemoney after 95 Starts.

 Re: New season
1st Season Plan
Since the game will give me 2 horses to start with, I decided to sell them. Possibly, I could racking up $130k AUD. My plan for this season is to buy 3/4YO and race them 3-4 times on winter season to see how they shaping up so i could get the ready next season. If I do find some talented horses from the auction and cost very less, I would likely sell them. That way I could buy field and spell them in there. Quote: Brief History
- Bought Burnwynd Boy - 47 rated 10YO Stallion for $8,750. - Bought Priceless Art - 55 rated 3YO Colt for $6,350. - Bought Fatina - 49 rated 4YO Mare for $2,750. - Bought Let That River Run - 30 rated 10YO Mare for $2,200. (For Trailing purposes) - Bought Silent Oasis - 53 rated 2YO Filly for $6,050. - Burnwynd boy - Ran 3rd on debut in Class 2 - Fatina - Ran 3rd on debut for stable in Class 7 - Priceless Art - Ran 6th on debut in Class 4 - Bought Broke The Gate - 62 rated 3YO Colt for $6,700. - Silent Oasis - Ran 6th on debut in Class 3
Horses in stables after season 1 Burnwynd Boy: The tough old bugger had it hard this season, had 5 race and has been fairly consistent throughout the season with racking up $7,463 in prizemoney. Though there won't be any improvement next season for him but I expected him to racking up at least another $5,000 in the bank through lowly rating handicap. Last 2 starts:28/6/17 | 4 of 6 | 2.2L | Bendigo 1600M | Class 5 22/7/17 | 2 of 10 | 1L | Caulfield 1600M | Class 4Priceless Art: The lightly raced 3YO did not begin well in his start of his career, ran very keen at early stages and the distance absolutely not suiting him compare to the trials. I'm personally not sure how much will he improve later on. Would likely to be gelded and lightly raced until he turn 5YO Last 2 starts:22/5/17 | 6 of 7 | 5.6L | Kyneton 2400M | Class 7 Fatina: The mare came to stables after 2 previous start, had an okay run at Sale but expect a little bit more improvement next season Last 2 starts:11/5/17 | 3 of 5 | 1.6L | Sale 1000M | Class 7 Silent Oasis: Silent Oasis had a run elsewhere before came in to my stable, his first run for my stables did absolutely not go well. Though buying this filly proven to be a nightmare, I expect her to improve a lot more after 2 years or so. Last 2 starts:25/5/17 | 6 of 6 | 8.6L | Tatura 1200M | Class 3 Broke The Gate: Haven't had any start since there's no race suit him. The colt suit for 1m 8f to 2 miles trip. ----------- Season ends with 0 out of 8 wins and racking up $7,837 prizemoney in total

 Re: New season
Nice idea!
Those restrictions could be an idea for some new game modes in SO7.
Keep us updated! Maybe I will start a similar game.

 Re: New season
2nd Season PlanEarly in the season I likely to expand the stables, since I have $100k left I should be able to buy another 5 horses. the horses that i want to buy is 4-5YO tried racehorses, increase their rating and send them to sales in order to maintain the weekly fees. My yearly targets are: 15 wins, $30,000 in prizemoney and buy a field for a spelling. Prizemoney expectation for each horse:Burnwynd Boy - $5,000 Priceless Art - $2,000 Fatina - $4,000 Silent Oasis - $2,000 Broke the gate - $ 3,000 Quote: Brief History- Expanded the stable - First win for the stable and the tough bugger, Burnwynd Boy. (Click the link for the photo)- Bought Tilsworth Glenboy - 59 rated 5YO Gelding for $4,050. - Broke The Gate beat Legendary Horse: Cue Card- Bought Roman Ruler - 61 rated 9YO Stallion for $4,150. - Bought Israar - 60 rated 2YO Filly for $6,100 - Bought Sleek Gold - 52 rated 10YO Mare for $6,100 - Sold Broke The Gate for $69,930 - Sold Burnwynd Boy for $46,800 - Bought Special Park - 31 rated 3YO Filly for $2,050 Previous horses at the stable Broke The Gate: The 4YO Stallion start his career stylishly with a brilliant ride from Damien Lane and scored 2.8L. He won 2 out of 3 run, scored a narrow win last start against the stablemate, Priceless art and beat Cue Card. Although he seems to be promising horse for next season, he has to go in order to maintain the weekly fees. Race Career this season3: 2-1-0 | $14,221 Last 2 starts:1/12/17 | 2 of 6 | 6.2L | Mooney Valley 3000M | Class 3 15/12/17 | 1 of 8 | 0.4L | Bendigo 2800M | Class 5 Burnwynd Boy: One of the best horse in stable, the 11YO has been consistent throughout as always. Though he failed to bid a hat-trick twice, this year is the last year for him and thought other stable might be able to rejuvenate his career to winning form. Race Career this season10: 4-2-1 | $27,438 Last 2 starts:17/5/18 | 4 of 6 | 6.4L | Warracknabeal 1600M | Class 2 14/6/18 | 3 of 4 | 2L | Mooney Valley 1600M | Class 4 Horses in stables after season 2 Priceless Art: 4YO Stallion made a good transition by finishing on the money first 2 start. Being fairly consistent, he beat Cue Card and almost scored a win against Broke The Gate. Expect a lot from him next season. Last 2 starts:1/12/18 | 6 of 6 | 12L | Bendigo 3000M | Class 3 15/12/18 | 2 of 8 | 0.4L | Bendigo 2800M | Class 5 Fatina: The mare started okay early in the season, though she improved a bit as I expected, last 2 run was worse than "Exosphere" both Australian and GB Horse. Complete flop and expect nothing more next season. Last 2 starts:26/4/18 | 6 of 7 | 3.8L | Sandown Park 1000M | Class 2 12/5/18 | 7 of 7 | 6.6L | Kyneton 1000M | Class 4 Silent Oasis: A complete flop. Last 2 starts:21/1/18 | 10 of 10 | 7.4L | Geelong 1000M | Class 3 18/2/18 | 12 of 12 | 6L | Sale 1000M | Class 4 Tilsworth Glenboy: A Star stable in the making. Made an early progress and always finished on the money, and stepped up against high rated horse. I expect him to improve a little bit more next season Last 2 starts:10/5/18 | 5 of 6 | 1.2L | Moe 1000M | Class 3 14/7/18 | 4 of 5 | 2L | Mornington 1200M | Class 4 Roman Ruler: Had 3 starts under the stables, okay run throughout the journey but has to be more consistent next season. Last 2 starts:11/2/18 | 5 of 9 | 5.2L | Warrnambool 2400M | Class 4 24/3/18 | 5 of 8 | 7L | Mooney Valley 2400M | Class 7 Israar: Joined the stable after a failed in debut early in the season. May improve fair bit next season. Sleek Gold: The old mare supposedly enjoying her time in paddock but I decide to let her to have one more run. Seems to have something left to offer. Last 2 starts:28/4/18 | 1 of 8 | 0.8L | Seymour 3200M | Class 7 Special Park: Former Godolphin joined the stable after a complete failure in debut. Expect something next season. ----------- Season ends with 8 out of 39 wins and racking up $61,622 prizemoney in total

 Re: New season
3rd Season PlanWith the horse not getting any younger and the form doesn't hold out all the time. I'm ready to buy more 2YO that is usually sweating or failure to impress the rival trainer. Fees are fairly high with 2 Stable stars sold because of it I also aiming for at least 16 wins to double up the margin from last year. and yes, field is still my primary target. Prizemoney expectation for each horse:Priceless Art - $4,000 Fatina - $2,000 Silent Oasis - $1,000 Tilsworth Glenboy - $ 4,000 Roman Ruler - $ 3,000 Israar - $ 1,500 Sleek Gold - $ 3,000 Special Park - $ 2,000 Quote: Brief History

Previous horses at the stable Priceless ArtPriceless Art had 1 run in Class 7 this season, though the form should hold out for another season, I need to sell him in order to maintain the stable fees. Race Career this season1: 1-0-0 | $2,274 Last 2 starts:15/12/17 | 2 of 8 | 0.4L | Bendigo 2800M | Class 5 12/12/18 | 1 of 7 | 1.2L | Mooney Valley 2800M | Class 7FatinaHad to sell her since she never had any improvement and neither finished in top 4. Race Career this season3:0-0-0 | $0 Last 2 starts:2/11/18 | 6 of 6 | 8L | Kyneton 1000M | Class 4 27/11/18 | 7 of 7 | 6.2L | Echuca 1000M | Class 7Sleek GoldShe's getting too old. However, the form still hold out quite well for the previous 4 run, other stable may able to give her a win. Race Career this season4:0-2-0 | $4,389 Last 2 starts:1/12/18 | 2 of 8 | 8L | Mooney Valley 3000M | Class 5 25/12/18 | 2 of 5 | 6.2L | Geelong 3000M | Class 5Silent OasisExceed my expectation this year however he has to go due to stable fees. Race Career this season8:2-0-1 | $7,716 Last 2 starts:31/1/19 | 4 of 5 | 1.2L | Mornington 1200M | Class 3 3/2/19 | 7 of 8 | 9.2L | Sandown Park 1000M | Class 7Princess MaxineFailure to reach the money and old bugger had enough Race Career this season4:0-0-0 | $917 Last 2 starts:14/12/18 | 5 of 5 | 3.6L | Weribee 1200M | Class 4 29/1/19 | 7 of 7 | 7L | Kilmore 1400M | Class 7I sell majority of the horses since I'm struggling to maintain the fees and totally lost the data. season 3 hasn't over yet but I'm trying to re-build again.

 Re: New season
Season 4 PlanAfter season 3, continuously struggled to maintain the fees I decided to Buy-Race-Sell option. To make the matter even worst, I had to sell majority of my horses and leaving me with 5 horses remaining. Plan for this year is basically using the option above to maintain the fees and making profit up to $150,000. Finding a talented horses and lightly race them until they filled their potential. Stable ExpectationRoman Ruler: The 11YO gelding continuously produce a brave effort last season and expect to finish in the money a few times this season.*Eurythmic: Had one run last year from Pat Carey stable. Have a little expectation on her and may do something later on*Ballet Shoes: Former Queenslander had a good run last year. May be able to win a few races under her belt.*Captain Hasings: Finished an absolute last for the previous run but should have some improvement and learn from it.* Scarlete: Had absolutely no luck for the past 2 season, but need to improve badly this year.* * - Failed to reach expectation and reserved them for sales * - Reserved for salesQuote: Brief History
- Bought Cosmic Star for $1,500 - Sold Cosmic Star for $27,405 - Sold Eurythmic for $2,035 - Sold Scarlete for $3,897 - Sold Ballet Shoes for $30,132 - Bought Orpendonna for $2,800 - Bought Mundesley for $7,050 --- Sold Mundesley for $9,156 - 3 wins in a row for Cosmic Star - Bought Roi De Rose for $4,650 --- Sold Roi De Rose for $18,012 - Sold Captain Hastings for $2,493 - Bought Old Brigade for $5,650 --- Sold Old Brigade for $62,650 - Sold Roman Rules for $12,800
