I'm pretty sure all of you on this forum destroy your games from what I've seen but for me this is a pretty good achievement. I've not been playing the game for too long, and this is the first version I've ever played. But at the end of the 2033 season I have finally put together a string of horses on the track and in the barn that will dominate my game for generations to come. I have won the champion trainer title several times but this season I have completely destroyed my opposition. I had 136 winners from 228 runners accumulating prize money of £16,400,046, multiple Group 1 successes all over the world, and have finally got a few nice types hitting the track. I haven't cheated whatsoever, I started out with the game horses and gambled my way to the dizzy heights. I've still not built the ultimate racehorse yet and this is something I'm hoping to achieve. I know all of you have probably topped this a million times and I'd be interested to hear anybody's win ratio/prize money in a single season.

My group winners are as follows...
147/117/195

Luke

Hi Luke and well done.
In early August the online league will have a couple of race days to trial your horses against other trainers if you are interested.
More info is in the online/league forums. Just keep an eye in there for more details :-)

Grats, is nice to beat the game, but as your rightly point out now you have your set, you will dominate every year from your breeding win most g1, money will be irrelevant etc so I heartily recommend the online league. Will be the point you realise your super star horses are pretty average when compared to everyone else's. League play will give you a new game direction and a lot of hair pulling on breeding :)

Glad to see you enjoying the game, Luke. It's my first version too but the longest save I've had is 9 years. Impressive stats you have too, mine are a bit lower - usually only have one great horse at a time in my saves, maybe two at most.

This is so true! I usually get bored when my games hit this point (hence my starting afresh), so I'm now trying to get some nice horses to breed and trial ready to rejoin the Online League myself. Sad thing is that my best horse (not one even close to her in all my saves) got demolished by quite a few horses in the trials that Mark ran. Really showed me that to get a 30+ G1 winner and "beat the game" is only really scratching the surface of how good horses can get. Hoping to get some free time soon to kick back in with the breeding for the League and get my revenge! ( more like come last by 15 lengths each race - but I do like a challenge!)
