 2 year olds at auction
I am playing SO6.
In the midweek auctions, is there any way of getting a rough guide as to the calibre of an unraced 2 year old?
I know you can see if they are from a group 1,2 or 3 winner, but often this has no bearing on their final price. Any tips?

Unfortunately not, as far as I know. The price they are sold for also doesn't seem to be a useful guide to their ability.

My tip would be don't buy them until money is no object; so when you have billions, then buy them all. 99.9% will be back in the next auction.

Totally agree with Josh!
With mid week auctions the unraced 2yos tend to be stayers and not of much use to you until they are 3yos.
