 Re: Weekly Reaction
2 winners for me one in each code
Attomic Boooooom my 1000 Guineas horse was dramatacly dropped in trip but it did the trick running out the smart winner of the Bet Victor.Com Cecil Frail Listed Stakes. She was up the front the whole way and at this distance she had to be once the stamina kicked in she was going to be tough to peg back looks likely this will be her last run.
Bombshell smartly added the Berkshire Novices' Chase G2 to her Grade one won a few weeks back she just got up but looked to have a bit in hand she has now won 3 from 4 starts and looks a star very pleased with her.
Congratulations to the winners and placers especially the Hennessy winner EDER ran a stormer and thought he was coming to win but ran out of time
thanks to the team wonderful comms as usual lads

FINALLY! I had something to get excited about!
Noverre Koo ran 4th in the Betfred Treble Odds Hcp - really unlucky not to at least run 3rd as it was held up from about the 3 furlong to the 2 furlong. Well done to Vinny's horse!
King Noverre ran 4th as well in the Whitsun Cup. May need another furlong. And well done to Ephraim Magopa's horse!
Is Ephraim a new trainer?
Doug. I'm a new trainer and House Beauty was my first winner ever. I'm very excited.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Absolutely! Cheering all the way. Liked the commentary as well. Makes it realistic. This reminded when I still owned real horses. My first winner in real life was Gray's Champ.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
A dreadful day on the flat for me with all runners getting well stuffed. Over the sticks Bold Lad got off the mark and l do think he will win again, Daylight Robbery and Sea Pigeon ran well but didn't stay. Fairy King did OK but the rest were pretty dire.
Well done to the winners and placers

 Re: Weekly Reaction
TuesdayFlatSolent Green - 10th Too short I think, always outpaced. Hugh Jengine - 2nd, solid run giving a fair amount of weight The Prisoner - 6th need 1.4 really faded in the last 2f It Tingles 14th or not as the case maybe JumpXternal - 10th Just getting a mark over the fences Coconut Shy - 1st outstanding run against very decent looking competition, thought she may struggle, back to her best? Indian Summer - Fell again, maybe for the chop Casual Mist - 4th Right in it, could have maybe gotten up if not for making a mess of the last. The Mentalist - Pulled up, showing his quirks The Ghost - 2nd cracking run though bombshell looked to have a lot in hand Eye of the Storm - 3rd good run giving she gave the two ahead a lot of poundage Around DBX - 14th Poor showing again, may retire Disposing Quiz - 7th in with a shout but could not stay the pace, ok run Josh

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Week 5 - Wednesday
Flat
Enders Shame - 9th he is no G1 horse
Arch Rival - 4th Good run in a listed, happy enough with that
Love Nor Money 18th poor outing today, nothing much to like
Access Denied - 6th ok debute, faded more than I would have liked
Fine Puzzle - 14th Usual service resumes after his DSQ
Jump
Great White Hope - 1st G3 Handicap. Delighted with him, jumped well and came nicely from the pack to just sneak up, gutting for Sharp Shoes, who also ran a cracker, weight maybe just showed
Leaving Las Vegas - 13th struggled today, not convinced he enjoyed the distance
Affairs of State - 10th top weight is a killer
Battleship - 1st had me cheering, and then worried whether he would stay after his break for home, somewhat unexpected, decent in the weighting will have helped
Enterprise - 11th Final run, for one confirmed on the cut list
Ermintrude - 6th Final run for another confirmed on the cut list
Rabbling Rebel - 9th against a very strong field, needs to stay to handicaps
Slim Chance - 5th Was a little snatchy at times, but got round which is a nice bonus
Gloria Slap - 8th, too much class for her, she is on the shorlist for cut
Cap Gemini - 4th more of the same from this chap, stays on gamely but not with enough pace
The Tortoise - 7th really needs 3m or greater
Hope and Glory - Fell strong candidate for the cut
Josh

 Re: Weekly Reaction
One of the better weeks for me.
Flat
Bloomington 2nd - was flying home over 1m 7f, that will win the Northumberland Plate with all important luck running *fingers crossed*.
Miss Knavesmire 1st - maintained her unbeaten record with a dead heat in the Welsh Leger, made the right decision in not going for the oaks, epsom doesn't suit her style. Maybe the Ribblesdale or the Lillie Langtry next, with the Leger the main aim.
Kosovo Girl 1st - Good win, wolferton perhaps next on the agenda, although i think Al Qalibah & Khorkovo are extremely well in and either could go for that.Might save Al Qalibah for the Smith's Cup and Khorkovo for the Old Newton.
NH
Nissaki 1st - needs a fast pace to be competitive, unlikely to get that in graded races. so may run him over fences then throw him into the County Hurdle or Betfair Hurdle.
Morning Dip 3rd - Dual graded winner last season, 3rd in the Fixed Brush, may go back into graded staying hurdles.
Blue Blood 7th & Postgraduate 11th - Both ran stormers in the Hennesy from where they were positioned, and both will go very well in the Welsh National

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Flat
A very slow start to the week, none of my donkeys did anything on Monday or Tuesday, but Wednesday gave my stable a 2nd, 2 x 3rds and a 4th in some lower grade handicaps.
Jumps
There was also a slow start in NH with only 5 horses managing a minor place on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was better with on winner in a G3 race and several placers
The surprise of the week was a 5th place in the Hennesay. Most of my longer distance horses are poor, usually they fall or get pulled-up. I have been trying to breed some 3milers in the last 3 weeks, a couple of whom seem promising, so will upload them tomorrow.
My fast start to the season seems to have slowed down, just like some of my horses. Quite a few are in contention with 100yds to go, but they just fade away.
Week 5 gave my NH stable 1 x 1st, 3 x 2nds, 5 x 3rds, 3 x 4ths and 2 x 5ths. A very nice haul in prize money.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
It's been a very good week for some of my jumpers. Beresford Girl won the group 1 Punchestown Chase after some poor runs, was going to get cut but u cant cut a group 1 winner. I think will struggle now. Asian Maze won the group1 hurdle, has been disappointing up until this race because she looked very good in my trials. Will only run on soft ground now so she might have run her last race. Rogers Princess 1st, this horse has now become a true superstar after last season and the 2 runs this season. I'm not sure how she does it but she is a true league horse. Have a look at her bars and she should be average, she was bred at this time last year. I've learned that my jumpers struggle running on good/soft ground, not sure why.

Thanks to all the team for the endless hard work and dedication.
And congrats to Colin Clarke with Char Kaddood in the Betfair, he deserved that after last season, love the way that horse runs, very gutsy. Thank you pal, he is my favourite horse
