As we come to our last week before the Winter Break I'd like to Thank Everyone who put's the time to make this the best Season Ever. Last Season we had full Time Commentator's( another fantastic season from them this year) and this season we have a Weekly Review/Preview Show. I'd like to Thank them for making it and to everyone else who puts the time and effort in to make this game what it is. We all know the effort and time that goes in to Breeding- Runners - Commentating-and all to make this game great, Also to Leon And Gray because without them two there wouldn't be a league.

Merry Christmast to Everyone and have a Fab New Year and lets do it all again Next Year.

I agree - without Gray and Leon this league wouldn't exist!

Thanks for your kind words Guys but although me and Leon do our bit to make sure we have a league if it wasn't from you Guys who also give up time to Run the races do the Commentaries and the handicapper we couldn't have a league and it is getting better and with Guys like Martyn and Tim getting involved means its even better than before.

So I like to thank you guys for your Support and hard work and hope you and all the people on this Forum a merry Christmas and a good new year and specially Scatters and Ghost who have had tough times.

I'd like to make a comment here too.

Don't want to bore you all with needless details but I want to thank you all for welcoming me into the community. This year has not been a good one relationship, health wise and stuff and now I find myself living alone (apart from the horses and sheep !) for the first time ever.

Purely by chance I saw a post saying extra commentators were needed and expressed an interest. From the outset Gray and Doug were very helpful and encouraging. After the first week I was hooked and totally into the league thing but with no horses wondered how I would stay focused throughout the weeks. This is when I came up with the idea of the review show.

I was a little concerned that people might think I was muscling in and trying to do stuff that you didn't want but I got nothing but encouragement and help.

This has been a real positive thing for me and given me something fun and enjoyable to focus on through a dark time. I know none of you personally in the real world but now feel the regular posters and contributors to the forum are becoming friends. The weekly chats I have with Doug are incredible fun.

So bottom line is ...... you will never quite know how much you did to help me start thinking positively again ...... and for that I will never be able to thank you enough

I've enjoyed the laughs chatting with you while doing the show
I suppose because we are so focused on racing our horses none of us thought about doing a racing type show.
Your fresh outlook and thinking has been a real welcomed boost and your calls of the hunt have been A Grade stuff!
Having you and Tim come on board to help me and Mike out has been a god send. Not sure where I found the time last season to pump out 40 or 50 races!

Off on a tangent - I'm watching some geezer on my security monitor who is standing outside my shop....just standing there holding a family sized pizza - I think he's half past drunk. Not really sure what he is up to! Shuffling from one foot to another. Been there for 5 mins now! Oh he's off! Good!

I loved the opening to the first week , it must be from around 1988 because my beloved Mtoto was on it. That was a better opening from Ch4 than these days, will be interesting to see what ITV does.

Martin, your contribution and the energy you have brought to the league has been an outstanding addition the whole thing is all the richer for it, I look forward to seeing you in the trainer lists going forward. And I echo the sentiments of everyone else re the callers, race runners and administrators. Weekday mornings would be a lot duller without those continued efforts.
