Boys u had 12 and 18 wins last week, that's good enough to beat anyone with those numbers.

The Paul vs Thunder battle is a even tie in my view, but you'll own me John, next week's multiple graded races at Cheltenham will allow you to get most of your stable out. If it is even close by then.

I only had 9 jumpers out this week and if the ground is good/soft next week then my horses will struggle, I'm going to have a look at all my horses and see what the percentage is but I can only recall one horse winning on it.

I entered for wins this week, hoping I would avoid you Paul and thunder, Cheltenham week I'll be hoping for a slice of glory which will also not aid my conversation rate.

Post Re: Dual Code Championship 2016/17
lets do some rough %'s for the DCC as it stands after week 9 day 1

total wins - 509

40% won by the top 3
52% won by the top 5
72% won by the top 10 trainers (working on 64 races a week, 46 will be won by one of the top ten) Yawn!!!!
27% won by the remaining 20 trainers
11% won by the bottom 15 trainers

These are rough, so no splitting of hairs please

Appx. 305 races (rough guess) left in the league, if trend remains the same, 219 will be won by top ten leaving the remaining 20 trainers, picking up 84 races.

I do realise that not all trainers in league are in the DCC so the top ten might lose one or two  hahahaha...

The sad truth of it, least in my humble opinion, you cannot compete in the league unless you pour through hundreds of seasons breed thousands of horses via very methodical breeding practises and spend a lifetime trailing. Casual play or indeed just playing the game simply will not do it. I'd go so far to venture most of the top players hardly play the game anymore, I know I stopped to make the league my focus and only race in the game to improve horse potential. An approach I'll push further for next year if I can find the time, and want to improve.

I've banged this drum for the last couple of season's but I think we need more 0-90 races on the flat especially the last few weeks.

Josh I've gone back to playing normally with my jumps game, I've got a 340 day jumps game. This is probably the last year we play this game and so I want to enjoy playing it again and I still enjoy playing the jumps side of the game.

Sorry everyone, I did not post to bring up the old "league chestnut" I have been here long enough, to know and admire the time spent by the top trainers to build all conquering stables & getting a successful schedule to cater for all levels is a difficult ongoing challenge & process.

I was bored and I thought stats are always fun to read..

In my opinion it's not just about competing, its about having fun no matter where you stand in the rankings or how good/bad you are or your stable, i am last more than 90% of the time but i have the biggest smile on my face after every race :D

If there is no race that one of mine stands a chance in i just throw him/her in a G2 or lower to help set the pace and give it a race - I bet i can make mine go from first to last quicker than anyone else
