the weather is done by an app not by a person Yeah but it can be changed. Its an app that throws up random weather and ground conditions based on stats from the course over the past years its been used for seasons on here why should it be changed just to suit you Peter To suit me? I can't believe you think that's the reason why. Did you not read what I said. REALISM is what I said. Btw I checked just now and you have 5 top rated horses in those races and all of which like Good ground so two can play that game.

Cheltenham Day 1 Races 1-7 - Good Cheltenham Day 2 Races 8-14 - Good To Soft Cheltenham Day 3 Races 15-20 - Good Cheltenham Day 4 Races 21-28 - Soft Cheltenham Day 1 Races 1-10 - Heavy Cheltenham Day 2 Races 11-20 - Good To Soft Cheltenham Day 3 Races 15-20 - Heavy Cheltenham Day 4 Races 21-28 - Heavy Yes random I get that but its really unrealistic that it can go from Heavy to Good to Soft and back again. Just saying.

 Re: Cheltenham ground
The ground could easily be like that.
Tuesday it start's on heavy, then it dries out over night then after the racing on wednesday it rains for the rest of the meeting.
It's not like if it's
G/Firm Heavy G/Firm Heavy

 Re: Cheltenham ground
I used to use a weather App where I fed the last ten years of ground at Cheltenham and would feed into the app and click the random button on each day has the meeting was spilt in four sections you got 4 randomised goings so like it was pointed out its not been Heavy in years at the festival so you where unlikely to see heavy ground taking in the last ten years. This Season Leon put a new Weather tool into Tom and used going by the Time of year the chances of certain goings at that period in the season when I change the week over I click create Weather later in the day I can only click it once and its set and can't be changed the difference you get from races 1-10 11-20 and 21 - plus are because the app is set to do the race day in sections and each course on that day in sections like Yorks Meeting Last week and Aintree next week. Again you can only click the weather app once I will put a photo below for you guys to see hope that cleared things up guys we got what we got. Gray

It would be a shame if it wasn't given we have the course in the game. Yes the glenfarclas race will be run on the cross country course.

 Re: Cheltenham ground
Personally I like the randomness, it can be a leveller. And while we're on the subject of ground can I put a request in for some Mr Frisk type ground for the National next week.

 Re: Cheltenham ground
In week 10 there is only something like a 6% or 5% chance of it been heavy ( will need to check ) so this is quite weird. The most likely weather condition is good to soft followed by good then soft.
Sorry I haven't had much chance to check the site of late

 Re: Cheltenham ground
Let's be honest none of us trailed on heavy, I figure, few of us have heavy going horses and for most this will fek our prospects considerably, I have no hope on this going. The few this aids, one of whom really does not need the help John , have their luck in this week, for everyone else dem the breaks.
