I do hope you're joking as I am not complaining about the handicapping, the horses get the ratings they deserve judged by their performances I just have a pretty good idea what they need to be competitive. I also state when I think they are well in.
I agree I like those comments but very few use them.

P.S. Are you going to drop all of my horses 6 pounds or do I have to keep griping? Or do you want one of the brown envelopes?

Man it's all good. There are very few notes from trainers. A lot of yours have the words "rating" and "high" in them. I can't help but notice and contemplate if there a subtle hint there, or you are just honestly assessing that your horse needs a lower class. It's fine and I know you are not really "griping".

At this juncture the races this week are very light on runners. I hope there is mad rush between now and closing time in regards to entries.

I think people are just trying to work out who's in and out before they do the decs. I've just cut a 155 grade 2 winner. The is the first time I've ever bred for this window but its become a bit of a headache trying to work out who's in and who's out. :?

I am still head scratching my team changes. That and race entry will be a last min thing for me. Notes Paul are temperamental, and all but impossible if your connection speed is slow.

Good week for me my horses 3 miles plus have really improved a lot, Hereditary Rule is close to the best I have ever bred. I have a really good national horse to bring in but she will probably get a huge weight if she performs as she does in my trials

Sorry to disappoint you Sirius but I appear to be very light on griping this week, obviously a consequence of them all running like donkeys a lot of them are hopefully on competetive marks now :).
Keep up the good work.

Good opening day for me as Kingdom of Titans made it back to back G1 wins with the the fighting fifth hurdle, looks a different horse to the one who opened the season. In Estate of Decline the other getting a win on her debute for a G2 novice, just sneaking up at the line.

Stack of horses had good performances and ended in the top three, Stay Another Day, Judgement for Max, Latent Talent (debute over fences for this hurdler) Hop Skip Jump on the jumps and Second Reflection, Required Force and Mocha Latte who found Za Approval too good today on the flat.

Just one winner today

Mind Your Manners won the Kings Stand but Johns jockey had a shocker
but not a bad place to break your maiden tag.

Congrats to all the winners and placers especially Alex who got off the mark
Thanks to the team & great comms as always and a fantastic preview show in
the live streams not sure about the fashion bit

My first flat runners of the season in action this week but just the one runner today. Snowbound ran OK in the Jersey and as expected was a few lengths off the pace. Bunbury Cup is a possibility next week.

Over the jumps Ice Maiden made an encouraging debut though did get very tired last 3f. She will be more at home over 2m. Major Catastrophe also ran well and can hopefully be competitive in 3m handicaps.

Well done all winners and placers and thanks to the team.

A very, very good Monday with 4 x G1 winners. Two on the flat and two over fences.

FLAT

Policetown Boy was a surprise winner of the G1 Queen Anne Stakes. He did have a couple of place finishes in the early weeks but his recent form had been poor.

Magictown Boy has been pretty consistent all season, just being pipped by Lamborghini in his last two outings, but he got his revenge by just pipping Lamborghini today to win the G1 St James Palace Stakes.

JUMPS

Cairnsville Girl won the G1 Henry VIII Novice Chase. She hit the front with 6f to go and stayed on strongly. This is her 3rd win of the season.

Pentonville Girl won the G1 Tingle Creek Chase. Another horse that went to the front early and stayed on for her second win of the season. She has had 6 runs so far this season and never been out of the top 3 in each race.

Well done to all the winners and placers and to those who run and comment on the races so admirably.

Decent Day 1 win over the Jumps 4 on the flat

Case Closed Legacy Off the mark at last. Some promising early runs but has been
on a very disappointing run but put it all together yesterday in the Ryman novice chase.

Dame Helen Mirren Her 3rd G1 win in a row doing it the hard way loved how she
was challenged and then kicked again from the front she looks like my best miler id say
the Falmouth next for here the IRON LADY.

Newsround My Leger horse is 3 wins from 3 starts and now has group 2 to her name
thought she might have got badly outpaced and also the mystery of the newcomers but she
did it impressively i'm delighted with her not sure where she goes now.

Dougs Fuzzy Screen YESSSSS DOUGIE 8) 8) the pressure was on from the owner who
made the long journey from Oz to come watch his newcomer the pressure was huge i was sick in
the pre race parade ring with nerves but the boy done good and my how well he did it he traveled
like a dream and cruised into the race late on and swooped home very strongly il have a chat
with Doug and see where he wants to go next i'm leaning towards the Coral Eclipse but the boss
might have other ideas it's just a great feeling to see him win on debut and in a Group 2 this will
live long in the memory COUP LANDED. P.S last time I saw Doug he was a bit worse for wear
in the Champagne Bar he was buying drink all around him and Moet De Chandon at that id say the
bar bill would make your hair curl I wonder how much of the £80,000 prizemoney is left i'm sure he's
still ok for a few quid he had £1,000 on e/w at 100/1 Doug hope you made it back to the hotel in one
piece

Ceaser Got very very lucky with the draw drawn 5 anything with a double
figure draw had no chance delighted he made a winning start

19 of my 23 horses to have run on the flat have won races

Many Congratulations to all the winners and placers
Huge thanks to the team especially Doug and Martin great preview shows on the live stream
glad the pictures worked and thanks Gray for putting it all together it was great to see so many
newbies watching the live stream hope you enjoyed it.
great comms as always lads Martyn great to have you back love those Geordie tones

First off - great calls by Martin and Martyn :-)

There was never any doubt about Doug's Fuzzy Screen! In fact I didn't even watch the race - I just stood by the bookie waiting to collect my winnings.
I did watch the replay later on in the Champagne Bar but my eye sight was too fuzzy from the champers to clearly see The Champ win :-)

Tally Ho old boys :-)

Aussie Billionaire hits lucky twice in one day

Aussie Billionaire Doug Warren who was present at Royal Ascot yesterday to see
his horse DOUGS FUZZY SCREEN win on Debut in the Group 2 Tercentenary Stakes.
Warren was seen leaving the Champagne bar at 3 am with Dame Helen Mirren who
was also present to witness her namesake win the Coronation Stakes the duo celebrated
into the early hours of the morning and were asked to drink up and leave several times.
The duo were seen leaving Ascot in the same taxi bound for London City Centre leaving
this reporter wondering did the Australian hit lucky twice in one day?

Excellent!

Not very much happening for me the first two days. To fourth places, one of them in a race containing five horses. Price money was good though.

I think I have been very lucky to get five wins during the first half of the season. I think I will struggle more now. And my NH team are still absolutely shambles :D
But anyway, enjoy this a lot, and it makes me more determined to breed better horses for next season.

Love the comms and the fashion show from Martin and Doug

Decent showing again today from my lot with two wins and three 2nds. Ubbe Ragnarson (pronounced Uba) rewarded my faith in keeping him with a brave handicap win on the flat. The Wraith finally showed some form after avoiding the pull up curse to run down du pont who ran stoically off low weight.

Two Bites and Black and White ran well for there second places and Sympathy for the Devil ran really well on his debute just finding Floyd with too much on the day. Good battle on the card with those two going forward maybe.

Congrats to all the winners and PJ picking up the Belmont Stakes.
Also some of the new trainers having a good day - Tom P getting another and a couple other trainers just missing out.
