Re: Weekly Reaction
And suddenly my NH team came to life. Maggie Mini With a great victory, two second Places and a Fifth. I am over the moon. Thanks to Martin for managing to keep the secret Another victory on the flat, Enzo Scifo. Now I have seven in total. Lots more than I expected. Everything after this is just a bonus. Well done again to the team. Really enjoy the streams and the chat.

Re: Weekly Reaction
2 wins on the final day, and a bunch of 2nd's. Rounded off a very good week with 10 wins in total, likely my best ever week in the league. I am sure those of you who were disappointed with the reschedule of the usual Paul and John show will be pleased too see normal viewing restored next week

Re: Weekly Reaction
well F*&K me pink & call me paraffin (excuse the expletives) A long awaited winner coming in the last race of the week in the Hunt with "Masked Karla" getting up to win in the SO6 Qualifier the other 10 runners got me two 5ths I know I should be happy, but frustration gets in as although my horses are now probably weighted right for a win, it will probably never happen in the hunt when always out of the handicap (yes still whinging about this....) On the flat my lightweight "Tormented Girl" beaten by a head against the top weight, so that was prob its chance but a close 2nd and I know once again I should be content. but out of 18 runners on the flat I get a 2nd and a 4th so you can see the anguish and my horses looking at bar stats, to the ones posted here are not that far behind, so what the hell is wrong.... I have several full speed bar horses with 70% + extra speed and still they tail off regularly...its worse than the PU's on the hunt. Well done to all the winners, team, handicappers etc etc.... p.s I did see a novice winner outside the top boys, so I stand corrected although one swallow doesn't make a summer

Re: Weekly Reaction
Delighted to get off the mark with Fair Salinia winning a 7f maiden and very surprised too as she is better over a shorter trip at home. Next race brought me back down to earth with my best horse Fighting Fit running a shocker in the Silver Cup and Songstress in the John Smiths Cup never got into the race.
Bounty Bar got me a first win of the season over the jumps in a 3m maiden chase, Major Failure and Young Parisian ran solid races as well. Rhubaarb showed some promise despite jumping terrible throughout but the rest were pretty dire.
Thanks to the team and well done all winner and placers.

Re: Weekly Reaction
My best week of the season so far with 3 wins, 2 on the flat and one NH all coming on Day 3.
Flemi Blue who I thought was a dirt horse surprised by winning the sprint at Sandown with a blistering turn of foot. One of my 'oldest' horses, and I thought least likely to make the team, she was bred so long ago that I never even changed her game generated name.
Purple Records finally came good and seeing it out battle one of Josh's gives me hope it can win again. Five more in the money made for a good week on the level. Thought Russian Foxbat was going to win 2 out but she hit the wall. Watch out for her over 10f
My second NH win came courtesy of Wheatfield Soul who has already put in a few decent performances. Smoke and Mirrors was a good second and I thought Maid In Europe was going to give me a first chase win when she led over the last only to be collared on the run in. Ten NH horses finishing in the money is by far my best NH week and hopefully this will be a turning point.
Nine winners in total for me now which is better than expected, the windmill tilting target of double figures and a win in both codes now seems a formality and I promise I am not cheating !
As for the horses named after me, they seem as keen on running as their real life counterpart with the exception of Martin and Doug which seems to have got its enthusiasm from its Australian genes

Re: Weekly Reaction
My second consecutive winless week which was disappointing although 8 made the money on the flat and 2 over jumps so there were a couple of near misses and good runs. Possibly my best chance of breaking my NH duck ended at the third last in the hurdles qualifier, the penultimate race. The search goes on. In other news the latest addition to our family was born on Saturday night so my priorities have changed somewhat. I should still be able to get my entries in but I may not be seen on the live streams for a while. Also I may not have time for adding all my racecard comments , but I will try my best as Sirius is bound to miss all my comments about handicap marks . Congrats to all winners and thanks to the team. Good luck for the rest of the season everyone in case I am not seen around. Now to get some sleep as I may never sleep again lol. Darren
