 Re: SO6 ONLINE LEAGUE WORLD CUP COMPETITION.... The target has been set, Sweden's loss has given Alex 1,980 points and the first player to have all his teams knocked out, but leads comfortably, minimum points for Russia & Croatia tonight (1,500 & 990) will make it tight at the top....

Re: SO6 ONLINE LEAGUE WORLD CUP COMPETITION.... Sadly the home Nation is knocked out and 1500 points go to those who pricked Russia. Doug joins Alex with his last team being eliminated and is obviously not going to win & sits in 4th place. As some of you have guessed by now, Alex's score will be tough to beat and those holding Croatia and near the top look like the ones to challenge.

Down to the nitty gritty with France claiming the first WC final spot & expelling a poor Belgium on the night, so only 500 points for selecting Belgium, which has completed a few more of your nominations......... But Darren Howells moves to the top and is in a very commanding position, unless Croatia can go all the way....  How the hell I ended up bottom of my own comp, beats me

We couldn't of asked more from a World Cup Final, glad England didn't make it as I don't think it would of been as half as entertaining with Southgate's one trick pony's. Back to our comp and although Germany were a complete shambles the title goes to Holger, WELL DONE, with some inspired picks as well as not being patriotic and picking you own which made at lot of sense in the end, as the measly 4 points gained from them in the comp became an advantage to those who did not pick. The top 3 being Holger, Darren Howells and Alex picking up the bronze (bad luck Paul, no trip for you) Wooden spoon for Martin  deserved more than just one laugh... Thanks for all those taking part, I guess the next will be our Charity competition at Cheltenham.
