Mixed results for me on day 1 of ascot. Managed a g1 5th in the prince of wales with across flashman sadly i forgot to change my game name from player 1  but was a very unexpected run.
6th in the Jersey with Highland Valley was a good run he will win a handicap soon.
Few new horses ran poor i think it's because i left stupid jockey instructions from game to challenge early which i don't think helps in the league against top horses.
Napapijri ran last in the fighting 5th need to stop running her over unsuitable trips and goings she has g1 form when things go right but can't seem to find firm ground wont run her again until i find the correct race.

Enjoyed the preview show great stuff :)

GL to all runners over the next few days.

Firstly, thank you all for the great feedback on the previews, was fun to do and I think we picked a fair few winners between us! Props to Martin for putting it all together.

On to Ascot -

Swift Rumble - 9th - Disappointed with that after last week it the ground was likely the issue. Will be aimed at all the top 5/6f races for the forseeable and we may nick another big one down the line.

Toll The Bell - 7th - Good run, hopefully he's good enough to pick up something around G3/Listed class later on.

Dutchforward - 5th - how can a horse that finished 4th in maiden behind 3 100+ rated horses not win that off 60? The jockey on it the past few weeks should be hung, drawn and quartered. Will step down in trip, but if he ever runs to that maiden form, he'll bolt up off 60 or lower.
Well done to Martin however!

Chocolate Pioneer - 1st - wouldn't have believed this one would have given me a Royal Ascot win but the stars aligned, perfect ground with a nice weight and he's gone and done it, pressure off for the season, if the ground turns firm he will go close in the Super Sprint.

James E Cornette and Swift As Air - Unplaced - Terrible run from both of them but both have come so close to winning previously. One of them will get off the mark before the season is up.

Regal Rumble - 2nd - Gutted, nearly pulled off a coup in this race with Tiësto 6 seasons ago and the Hunt Cup heist has fallen short again by the smallest of margins. Prep was perfect but the season long coup was foiled! Will be aimed at the Balmoral.

Law Ranger - 3rd - Ran up to expectations in what was a very poor race, will go to the Super Sprint if getting in.

Alysson Felix - 11th - Shocker of a run, needs to drop a few more lbs but is good enough for a 0-90 somewhere down the line.

Well done all winners and placers, thanks all involved behind the scenes as usual.

Post Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
Great start to week 6 with the previews setting the mood for the races to follow.

Few good placed efforts on day 1 of Royal Ascot. R1 - 3rd and 4th place finishes in a G1 on there debuts. They ran very well and could be a Group race in either of them.

The rest ran like donkeys.

NH
R1 - Universal Rule 2nd Very pleasing debut in a Grade 1 and if not for a slow jump at the last i think he would have won. Looking forward to the rest of the season with this 2mH. He will be thereabouts in the Champion Hurdle. Nice win Josh. These 2nd's are frustrating hoping to return the favor later in the season and next season  .

R2 - Daltawa Mattino 4th - Nice effort today. She doesn't even make my trail sheets nowadays but didn't have room for another 2m4H Novice in my team. Could still surprise in the upcoming festivals. Awesome debut win by Leon horse and classy looking individual.

R4 - Aztec Humour 9th - Completely messed up with the age of this horse. Again i have much better now but didn't have room for another novice. Very impressive debut by josh's horse. Early favourite for the Arkle.

R5 - Andhaar Revere 1st - As mentioned in my comments prior to the race. This horse as a real touch of class about him and was expecting a big run today even on his debut. He's even better as an 8yo but thought why not take a chance with him at 7. He could be back next year for a repeat. I've won this race a few times in the past and will head to the Queen Mother were he comes alive around Cheltenham. It shows i'm making real progress with my jumpers and will be a much better stable next season. Over the moon with this result.

R10 - Access Prospector 3rd - Great effort this week off a huge weight. Another who way do the list in my trails. I've even deleted him from them. Like most of us i could have put in another 30 horses into the uploads.

Nice to be back aiming horses at the top races in the NH league. Been a very good learning curve for me with all the new adjustments for novices and so on. Will plan my squad much better next season.

Congrats to all the winners and places.

Thanks again to all the team behind the scenes. It's very much appreciated.

3 Royal Ascot Winners and a NH win on day 1 of week 6

Park Royal
Wins her 3rd Group 1 of the season winning the King Stand she really
is tough to beat over 5 furlongs and that was another awesome performance
her next big chance will be the Nunthorpe but will run in the July Cup

Tajikstan
Completes the treble English & Irish Guineas & St James Palace stakes this
was his 4th win and he did it well he now has to prove himself against his
elders and I'd imagine he will run in the Sussex Stakes next.

Olympic Dreams
Her 3rd win of the season when winning the Queen Mary she also did it well
proving herself to be by far my best juvenile she must go into G1 company now the
6 furlongs may stretch her.

Gold Hildred
Honestly thought she had no chance of winning any race but everything seemed
to click into place for her today this may have been her moment I doubt she will
muster another win.

Well done to the winners and placers (Tam) I see you had some promising debuts
welcome and well done.

Huge thanks to all the team involved as always the time you put in is so much appreciated

Finally huge thanks to Nick Stu & Martin for an amazing preview show it was just brilliant
looking forward to the rest of the week thanks again.

RA
R4 Specialized (6th) - great effort to finish as close as he did after being completely wiped out just inside the 2f pole. Lost all momentum and a hell of a lot more ground than he was beaten by. High hopes he can be my first G1 winner on the flat since SO4.
R5 Frosty Saga (4th) - beaten by better horses
R6 Ghosttrain & Lazy Eye - stable lads still looking for 'em. Trainer hoping they don't find 'em.

NH
R2 Mrs Doyle (5th) - didn't stay.
R7 Neerdowell (7th) - never at the races, really poor effort.
R8 Vive La Rock (4th) - solid effort. First 3 were far too good for him.

Thanks to the team and well done all winners and placers.

Great first day for me, one flat winner at Ascot and 2 over the NH but both G1.

Very pleased with Dominatix in the fighting fifth, did not expect a G1 from my 2m hurdlers so is a massive plus. And of course The Monster well and truly lived up to the name with a debut G1. Word To The Wise the only disappointment beaten to 2nd tables may have turned on her Queen Mother aspirations a little.

The horse needs pace. Better off putting it in with the good ones or dropping it in trip where he will more likely run better. They went way to slow for him. There must be a G1 handicap you can plot a route to for it. I find 2m4 horses do really well in Melbourne Cup so that is an option.

A bit of a bad luck day for me on the flat. Most of mine had traffic/jockey issues. Although really happy that my 9yo who ran 2nd on a course that does not suit as well as a turning one would.

NH I had a great win with Stop Messing Around and have high hopes for him. He is on the canditate list to come back next season and is as good at 8. What I thought was my best chance for win, Await you reply, fell early so no idea how she would have ran. Well done to Josh on unearthing a monster with The Monster and well done to Hemz for winning the Tingle Creek. Glad I dropped a 2 mile chaser after seeing these 2 mile races.

I think my flat horses have reached their peak and so i'm not shocked their were poor today at ascot, most will struggle to do much the rest of the season. :D My flat breeding is garbage at the moment and is going sideways, need a good stallion to move it forward.

And then you go and win the Gold Cup    congratulations John I know you love this race

2 Royal Ascot winners for me today

Portugal
Been there or thereabouts all season and today was her day she
finally gets her Group 1 and gets one over Tunisia who of course
I love equally just felt Portugal was due one. Both fillies will go for
the Falmouth next I'd imagine. This was my 14th G1 victory of the
season all of them by 3YO's

Lioness
She was one shortlisted for the chop shown nothing all season but
kept the faith in her and it paid off some horses only do well at tracks
where you trial them and thats the case with Lioness who only trialed
at Ascot. Delighted she got her big day today in the Albany it will have
to be into G2 company next maybe something like the Duchess of
Cambridgeshire.

Well done to the winners and placers

thanks to the team

Preview shows are just different Gravy even Stu watching my horses do morning work
absolutely brilliant stuff thanks again lads I know how much time it takes to produce them

Great to see some new or newish trainers banging in the winners too

Few decent runs for me on day 2, including a Group 1 winner an 3rd

Xinyi Player - 1st Commonwealth Cup - I had written this was probably the best horse I'd ever bred, in truth, a lot of my horses are now around this level so it was good to see it win so well, just a shame I could only upload 5 of them

Xinyi Nightngale - 3rd Commonwealth Cup - If we ever get some juice in the ground I can't see this one losing, uploaded specifically for if the ground turns, so this was a massive bonus

Foshan Drift - 5th Gold Cup - Not had any luck so far this season and again drawn 18 and staying wide the whole race hasn't helped. Think it lacks a bit of strategical pace during races but stays all day

Kaiping Slick - 2nd King Edward VII Stakes - What a horse, my favourite in training, nabbed on the line here after another game effort. Hopefully he'll pick up a race soon, but what a game horse he is.

Thanks to all the guys with the comms and preview show, making a good week even better

Well done Paul with u outstanding 3yo's and it's good to see lots of trainers winning races. I'm over the moon with Solo winning the Gold Cup :D it's great when u watch a horse look special in game and then proves it in the league, he'll comeback and try to win it again next season. I'm glad I got that right and put him in as a 4yo. The rest of my team are average to poor at best and they are drinking in the last chance saloon  . My flat horses are stuck on the same ability and my best horses go back to November last year and I have 1 horse sprinter left that could improve their potential otherwise my game will stay as a stayers game and retire all other distances. Might go fulltime as a jumps trainer. It was nice to see my best good ground horse Shall win, onto the RCA.
