I'll post this here. It's unrelated to the trials. I picked up the game recently after not playing for a while. There's been a patch in that period. I'm playing a UK jumps game and on January 1 a load of 2yo's I bred were dumped on my stable. Am I wrong but don't the 2yo's hit your stable at the beginning of the game year? I don't recall them entering your stable on January 1.

Edit - I'm looking at my breeding and a lot of my mares have flat distance indicators. Something's off here.

I play a Combined Game Sirius and my 2YO all enter my stable January 1st Remember in the Jumps you cant ran them Until 3yo September in Normal Jumps Game in NHF Races or Juvenile 3YO Hurdle races.

Also just picked the game back up and noticed this in my first season of breeding, so it has changed along the way. Though the introduction of the horses earlier is logical and beneficial in my view, as a manual trainer the same will be true for you.

Distance indicators are all tied to race success, they always have been, so if you have a 3m chaser who only ever runs 2m NHF and wins a few, he will breed rate 2m horses who are actually still 3m chasers, for the most part at least. It is especially apparent in the export bin. Since I have always wound the clock back on my games a lot of my horses go into the barn without ever having run their best distance. It is especially bad on the flat where pretty much everything I breed the game rates at 6f. Nothing really, according to the game, is better than 7f in my entire stable but it is a nonsense and it means nothing, you have to know the horse and the line and ingore the indicator.
