Martin and Jim, I've done a test on R38 from this week. Can confirm I can record on my phone and convert to WAV without the need for Audacity and the sound quality is fine.

I could upload in the dropbox somewhere if you want to test it out, or even use it for this week then I'll start in earnest from next week?

Martin - realised I still have your number on WhatsApp from when we used to do comms together, have dropped you the same note on there, not sure if you have changed number etc!

Upload the sound file to the Races folder, that what I do and Gray sorts it from there. You will see i have already uploaded race 27, will upload some more shortly.

Done - if you or Martin were already doing that race then please remove it if you are going to add your own, unless you want to keep mine in.

If you could give it a test listen and check everything all good and Gray says all good, then happy to help out from next week.

I usually do the h'caps and leave the group races for Martin but if you want to do some, have at it.

There is a .wav file in dropbox called Long Finish.wav. It contains the sound effects for the horses hooves and the crowd cheering at the end of the race. I usually use audacity to merge my commentary and the sound effects.
