A poor start to Royal Ascot, expected to go a bit closer.
The Predator (Unpl) - Was always out of depth in Group company.
Maundy Thursday (4th) & Easter Sunday (Unpl) - Maundy was the one I really thought would win so very disappointed with 4th, Easter Sunday didn't stay.
Druidess & Purple Ronnie (Unpl) - Both ran OK without challenging.
Zoro & Cactus Jack (Unpl) - Again both ran good races without going close, expected a top five from at least one of them.
Marie Curie & Lucky Moon (Unpl) - Getting the penalty for winning last week hurt Marie and she was too high in the handicap, Lucky Moon was very poor.

A real good day for my jumps team with 3 winners, it was nice to see Unioniste ( one of my stars on the track and in the shed) show his best . My other Gold Cup Night Escapade was beaten a short head . Martin u were right in coms, the ones who looked like they won lost in the photos. Night looked like she won but lost and Lottery looked beaten but won. Got to admit i do love my stayers even if i've bred all 4 milers instead of 4m4 horses, run as fast as they can and try to hold on. Now that im home the betting will be updated after this weeks races.

1st Royal Ascot winner and then 2nd in a G2 I just threw in cos there wasn’t a handicap for him this week. Well chuffed with both . Martin is meant to be Connery as in Sean. My spelling is terrible though when I’m naming horses.

Congrats to Matt an Paul on the first Royal Ascot winners Great day for me at Ascot with 4 winners, 5 if you count the dead heat Kings Stand 5f - There's been very little between Yima Twister an jixi Speedster all season, an only fitting that they finish dead heated for this. These 2 are currently producing some nice horses over 6f too in my game so hopefully I can improve the 6f horses next season St James palace - Yuma Schoolboy looks a good horse, but he's also a bit of an Ascot specialist I think. Won here on debut by about 4l too I think. Both performances at Ascot on good an good to firm, an he really likes it soft. Norfolk Stakes - Fukang Wonderous looked pretty good all season. He's a bit of a beast as a 4yo at home, but he'll never see the league at 4 now as I messed up my 6f older horse trials Queen Mary - Xingtai Search been hitting the bar all season with late rattles but not quite getting there. This time the Jockey done something right for once an took it up in a small field. Likely she'll go back to finishing late from now on though an getting placed. Thanks to everyone involved, especially Mart who must be looking forward to the end of the season now

						Thanks Vinny.
Yes I could scarcely believe it. Not only my first Royal Ascot winner in my first season, but also in my first race at the meet as I didn't have a runner in any of the first 10 races!!
Happy for the horse too, Babble On. He was one of my very first benchmarks in the CK and remained my 1m benchmark for about 10 seasons and a lot of my horses running around today can be traced back to him. Had shown nothing all season until now!
A couple of handy places over the jumps too. I thought Sizzling Tale was going to produce a shock but it's going to take something special I think to beat one of John's stayers.
Oh and Martin, next season I will name a horse Sizing Tale, just for you!
  Cheers, Paul

Well done Paul and Matt on your first Ascot winners. Gutted my Ascot has been so poor, all of my trials there and though some of mine would at least go close.
Death Star (2nd) & Octavian (5th) - Once again Death Star falls just short. Octavian with another average run.
Suprastar (Unpl) - Given up on her, looked so good in trials and has utterly disappointed.
Lucky Berry (3rd) - Nice to get group placing on the board but it was a weak renewal.
Mastermind and Breton Rose (Unpl) - Mastermind didn't stay as expected, Breton Rose was given far too much to do, as usual.
The Outlaw (Unpl) - expected better, given too much to do.
Rose Of Lancaster (Unpl) - Another one given up on, poor all season.

Good week for me though I lost a lot of ground in the flat championship with a lot more places than wins. Though the results from Monsterous in the coronation and Heart of Oak in the Belmont were great to watch, loved the comms on the Belmont from the new voice of the league NH is all a bit Meh this season, on any given day it seems with some many trainers now with top level horses, can’t complain with 4 wins really and the consistency in my team is just daft, so many 2nds - 4th’s….. Josh

Josh We need a stewards enquiry , the coms man seems to be a bit biased in the Belmont must have had a few quid on . Could she be one of the rare 3yos to compete against the older horses over 1m4. Another good week for my jumpers , all performing well and one of the things I'm most happy about is for the first time ever my chasers are good jumpers, its nice to see they don't fall at a 25% rate. That's the kiss of death now

						A good week for me.
First Royal Ascot winner with Mistic Catalan (also won last week) in the Brittania Stakes.
Two further winners with Radas Dash being a bolt from the blue with a cosy win Kelloggs got up close home.

I don't have the time to put into the game to make these G1 winners but I'm happy to float around in these lower rated handicaps.
  Congrats to all the winners.
Thanks to all who put this together and makes it happen.

Thanks for the good feedback on comms chaps. I must say Tony The Tiger fans in clover when Kelloggs won was my favourite of the week Having finally watched some G1 action, it astounds me these front runners going in. May have to tweak my preparation if there's another season before SO8. Although looking forward for a full restart on a new game. Josh's horses are just machines from the front. Dreadful week for me, a smattering of placings, don't think it's going to get much better next week!

Did not expect that result her dirt trial form is patchy.

My lack of seasons is showing. I'm ay behind in wins and prize money in NH. However Wooden Ship is a standout for me. Looks like I have a decent Gold Cup horse
