Post Race View
Hi,

I ran the first 10 races from the NH this week. Any feedback after watching next week, let me know here.

I generally kept the screen wide and if the field spread out, I stopped over a jump. Only issue I found was the last jump was close to the line, so for race 10 and maybe 9, I didn't wait to show those behind.

First race was run a little low but raised the view for the rest.

Anyway thought I'd ask in case people didn't like what I did.

Happy to change it, doesn't effect me.

From a commentating point of view, having done some of your races already, my only concern is the focus on the backmarkers/hovering over a fence towards the end of a race. It's great for most of the race as it doesn't effect the commentary flow, in fact it makes it better as you get a clear opportunity to mention more runners. But over the last couple of fences/flights it can distract when trying to work up to a finish.

Only other thing I have noticed this week, and not sure if was your races, was the result screen going off before I had chance to read out the top 5. We do 5 as prizemoney goes down to 5th.

Thanks, love the feedback

Yeah noticed the backmarker vs finish in the last few jumps about 7 and 8 races into my 10 races. Don't enter NH so didn't realise how close they were to the finish. Think I stopped for last 1 or 2 races I ran, Stu suggested not to worry about the last 2 jumps going forward.

Did a slow 5 second count at the end, will run that up to 15 or so for you.

Something I do to judge how long to leave the results on the screen.

I slowly recite the horse and trainer names for first 5 places in my head and then pause another two or three seconds.
