No one likes a heavy track haha, lots of excuses!!

I know my boys and girls well, they won’t like it one little bit. The ebbs and flows of the league. My NH on the other hand have no such excuses this week. It’s bang on for many.

Week 2, day 1 was a mixed day on the flat. Two winners and lots of places but there were a couple of races where I would sack the jockeys.

Island Dance, my 1000 Guineas horse again showed she could be a real threat in the Guineas with her 2nd win of the season and Classic Action ran on very strongly to win the Tattersalls 10f listed race.

My sprinters are serious contenders in the league this season but they appear to be slow starters in the league. The second week running that one of my sprinters has started slowly and been trapped with no place to go in the final run in. Echo Mind's jockey in race 9 is not getting paid this week.

Unless my horse is a natural front runner, I always upload my horses with the instruction, "Don't Lead". Too many of my horses are going to the front too early and being run down in the final furlong. In my trials at home this instruction seems to work well but in the league it is being ignored.

I was not expecting much from my 6 horse NH stable but Town Sculpture ran on to a nice 2nd place in race 12's 2 mile maiden chase.

A very good day for David Robertson on the flat, I think I counted 3 winners, well done.

Congrats to all the other winners and a big thanks to the commentators and those who work behind the scenes.

Jim

Thanks Jim it was actually 4 winners which I think is probably my best days haul ever.
Eurobus Bliss won the 2yo Brocklesby Stakes.
Kate Moss won too easily in a 2m1f handicap, hope the handicapper didn't notice.
Pillbox Hat won the Tatteralls Sprint.
Hammerhead and Banner Tasse were the first two home in the Yarmouth Maiden over 1m.
The less said about my NH horses the better.

Disaster of a day, Titanfall and Texas Gin were very disappointing. Back to 2m and a trip to Sydney likely for Titanfall. Hoping for some major respite from the handicapper, my 3YO classic horses are as always an absolute mile off the pace.

Over fences, Devil's Plan ran with plenty of merit, as well as Yokohama but the rest, it's a struggle.

Well done all winners. Thanks all helpers!

Ok day for me on day 1 flat. Easy Destiny was a big disappointment, but he even hates Good to soft at home, so Heavy wont have helped, especially front running. He'll be back hopefully for bigger prizes.

Miracle of Maldives staked his claim for the Guineas by winning the Craven, although, I just cant see him having quite what it takes unfortunately in a massive field

Having only uploaded my NH team for week 2, it seems I made the right choice as I wasn't going to bother. I don't think I've played it since during the last league season. 3 winners an 3 seconds is a good start though, an hopefully I'll have a couple of competitive horses throughout the season

Thanks to all race runners an Comms, doing a great job as always
