I have it in my flat game but it’s a NH line.
And I won’t be hard to catch, no new games for me and those I have are on or approaching their ceiling. I've got 3 grey computer mares added to my line, I had very few greys left in my game. Will see where they go. Coming along for the ride

I found a game colt chaser who was beating my horses and managed to grab a colt version offspring of him for breeding, but they all trial like crap Same with a white 3m hurdler from years back, his is a trial line but with only a couple of connected mares I cannot see to breed a keeper.

Finished the season with a win the Paul Moores final. 53 combined winners this year massively improved from my 32 a couple of seasons ago. So really hopeful we can get one more season in at some point before SO8. Thanks to all the volunteers and comms.
Cheers The Marvellous one!

That’s the way the cookie crumbles. Besides you missed a week and owned me at the breeders cup when the advantage should have been mine, so the right outcome for me, I would have been stealing it.

It was a great battle to be fair. overperformed in some areas I thought I'd struggle, then others definitely underperformed. Same with some races like the Breeders. Really wasn't expecting that.
Shame Jim didn't stick about, would have been very interesting as a 3 way battle

Great season easily my best ever return with 79 combined wins and numerous group 1s . Champion hurdle , Dewhurst and middle park the highlights along with Persian Princess and her super 6 wins . Well done to Josh and Vinny as ever you guys set the benchmark and also a massive well done to Matt on a brilliant season . Finally huge thanks to all the guys that make the league happen and if there is another season of so7 i promise to stick to a single colour for my silks !!!

The hardest thing about starting all over is I'm struggling to workout the pace of the races. In my old game I had trusty front runners who would go a nice even gallop, I had them from the beginning but get the pace wrong on the flat and u buggered.

Re: Season 17 Trainers Post Race Discussion and Thoughts
Hi all,
Sorry been MIA in the foreground last few weeks but still trying to do as much RR as I could in the background. Got a new job with some 12 hour days in there so time disappeared.
A solid and mixed season for me. The solid part I was top 3 in 43% of races, most of these being group races.
Mixed bit was the way my horses ran, winning then forgotten next race. Also some of the 2nds and 3rd were from a place of never challenging.
Is there a way to see group wins/places in TOM without manually going through each horse? Feel like this was an improvement.
Had started a game early in the season to improve my shorter distances, but haven't been able to play for almost 2 months.
Lastly, i know all RR and coms do so much work, but Alex, I don't think everyone knows how much he holds this together (well at least this season). I learnt to do RR this season and it is not hard just takes a bit of time. Would be great to get more help, I did it all with free programs that come with windows so nothing stopping anyone. More hands would make it less time for everyone, espically when life got in the way for a few of us.

Re: Season 17 Trainers Post Race Discussion and Thoughts
33 Flat wins for the season, my best ever, I had hit 25 back in S04/S05 cant remember which. Also broke into the top ten (7th) although might of been a bit further down had Padraig and Jim seen the season through, nice to beat Martin on the flat tho. Really chuffed I had a sprinter that is within 1/1.5l of the top class, my flat sprint line is improving the past couple of seasons I have been involved with. NH, strange that Horses did the business at Cheltenham but outside of that pretty poor, since losing a decent line Ive struggled to get it back. Well done to Josh's dominance in the NH and almost doubled up on the flat, so well done to Vinny stopping it being the Sutherland show As always nothing would of happened if not for Alex, a tiresome job for sure, thank you. Also to RR's David, Josh, Ash, Alex & myself, the handicappers Vinny & Alex, throw in the Comm team with the excellent addition of Paul who is the next Martin for sure and a job well done by all. Finally, it has been a tough 13-15 weeks for those that volunteer, I would be more than happy to do it all again but we need to get back to 10 races a day and maybe even cut the season to 10 weeks, its far too time consuming to be enjoyable imo for those that volunteer, unless some other players start to jog up and help out.

For me Jim had the best stable on the flat, but he quit as he always seems to do no idea why?
