Just realized that with the 15 stable rule limit, this has had an effect on field sizes. I never thought of that. Slow to see things!!!

This is a very good thing, but as more trainers become involved the bigger these fields will get, like before 30 runners

I will manage the stable size to make sure the field sizes stay decent. Having watched all the races for the week I have to say I really enjoyed them. A few surprises, some new faces and some old I'd like to get rid of (for personal success reasons only)

The smaller field sizes at least mean you can't be drawn in the car park, that was one of the major issues with USRA. 50% of the field had no chance before the race even started.

There are a couple of technical issues with loading the results into TOM. I hope to get those sorted asap but the races will be posted as normal tomorrow (at about 8.30pm UK time).

Hmmm i hope a win for me would count as a surprise!!!

Thats the beauty of the nhc!!!anyone can win its so open and unpredictable!!

I love the field sizes as they are so much more realistic!!also big field sizes mean i have no chance in any race as evrry horse in my game is a hold up horse and a firm ground horse!!i will probs have to start a new game if field sizes increase

Oooh i thought you meant the big races of each week. Like we'd pick out the big 3 races each week and myself, Ryan and Connor would share them out...

Oh and mr HurricaneRun... you wouldn't do me a little favor and check out the noms for the Daniel Gath Homes Hurdle in week 2, please? :)
