what is the problem with TOM not displaying the correct number of runners and placings in the trainer championship standings?

Kauto 9/2?? HUGE price!! Although I backed him at down royal, I still think the performance wasn't mightly impressive, but still a good win none the less! If Denman comes back for it my house is on him, although I'd love to see Joncol show up....

only prob is u cant do 9/2 each way on betfair.
but backing him now, say he wins the king george, will be even money. so probably will be a free bet.

dont think it will be that short stevie!!

if you look at the King George betting they expect him to win because kempton on boxing day is his day. I think if he wins a 5th king george he will be 2/1ish for the gold cup

it depends on how imperial commander and what a friend run. i think IC's gold cup was a fluke, won't retain it. thinking of going in heavy on kauto to lay off after the KG, with a saver on what a friend.

its just a shame denman is a spent force. my favorite horse of all time when winning the gold cup, won me a lot of money and beat off a lot of kauto lovers who told me i was a mug to back denman. even better than noland in the 2006 supreme novices. got it at 100/1 in running on betfair coming over the last. beat straw bear by the shortest of margins. great times. makes looking at wolverhamptons card on a wet wednesday seem trivial.

you put any antepost bets on yet?
i think laying frankel for the guineas is buying money too.

no mate i dont really like antepost betting, ive learned a few lessons doing it in the past.

i wouldnt lay frankel personally, looks frighteningly good - yes saamid and dream ahead ran poorly in the dewhurst but frankel was pulling so hard or the first few furlongs and still won easily. he looks an amazing colt so im just gunna look forward to watching him.

really looking forward to fighting fifth - i live in newcastle so will go and watch. hope hurricane fly stays injury free because i think he is an incredible horse at his best.

yeah am a big fan of hurricane fly. cracking run on his return at punchestown. if the entered horses run it will be a cracking race. peddlers cross stepping up in grade, hobbs has big hopes for menorah, binocular too.

as for frankel, look at the champion 2 year olds in recent history. rainbow view, not placed in the guineas, st nicholas abbey not placed in the guineas (with a very similar profile to frankel). will lay antepost and place lay on the day. there will be a few horses hidden away that will be his match. more a derby horse than guineas horse.

these NH races are taking their time!!

There was no fluke about Imperial Commanders win, the horse just loves Cheltenham and if he gets there fit again, he wont get beat.

Just seen Coral have went 7/4 Kauto for the King George, thats some bet. I thought Kauto jumped like a stag first time out, travelled with the race fit Sizing Europe, who is a strong traveller as we know, and put the race to bed easily. People were saying they werent impressed, Sizing Europe and China Rock will be competeing in the top chases in Ireland over the next few years and i thought he put in a superb round and was never in any danger. I dont care if Long Run wins by 5 lengths on Saturday, id still fancy Kauto to destroy him on boxing day.

As for Denamn being a spent force, we wont be saying that if he wins another Hennessy. Hes not as good as he was before the problems with his heart but hes still capable on his day. Forget his last run in Ireland, he lost about 30 lengths on the way round and you will never see him on a right handed track again.

Too early for Joncol I think, could be a contender in a year or two though and i wouldnt dismiss him as a Gold Cup contender for the future. Nolan has took his time and with a horse as big as Joncol, you expect him to keep improving and peak probably at 8 or 9, as ive said before, he is a monster.

You think laying Frankel is buying money LMFAO good luck to you sir.

Thats the best 2yo ive seen since ive been into racing and New Approach wasnt bad.... The move he made in the Royal Lodge actually took the breath away, ive never seen a move like that from a 2yo in my life. Its the closest thing ive seen to Secretariats move in the Preakness. I know the horses he was against that day were Group 3 at best but when Queally showed him daylight, he covered the field in 3 strides and went on to win by 10 lengths very easily. That for me stamped him as a true Group 1 animal and id love to see the beast that can stop him in the Guineas.

For me, the only potential danger to Frankel in the Guineas is Peter Martins whos only won a maiden. The other potential Guineas horses with form in group races will have to improve at least a stone over the winter and thats with Frankel standing still.

Wouldnt be the first superstar to let the punters down but ive a feeling this horse is the real deal and i want to back him to win the triple crown even though Cecil says he wont get 1m4, just got a feeling hes going to be a freak and Cecil deserves it.

the move he made in the royal lodge was against a bunch of piss poor horses. i'd take the way he won that with a pinch of salt. and what about rainbow views win in the may hill, hugely impressive but a let down as a 3 year old. frankels price is ridiculous and is a massive lay.

As I said, i dont care if it was trees he was running against, ive never seen a move like that in my life and ive seen plenty of group 1 2yos running against shite.

Klammer was 5th in the Coventry and came out and won a group 3 since, so you could buy horses all your life and not get one as good the horse Frankel beat that day.

They were nothing special but they were not piss poor horses.

Its your money, lay away.... And back Kauto for the Gold Cup.....

Clueless

When Cecil tells you this is the best 2yo hes had since Wollow, you should wake the BEEP up and listen.

Someone will have to be sitting on an unraced machine for Frankel to get beat and until I see it, hes a goodthing.

You can never be too sure, I won't be laying frankel that's for sure, but there's a whole winter ahead and anything can happen...injuries, others can go forward and frankel backwards, may not get derby trip if goes, who knows...would love to see frankel do the business at 3 though
