So far I have hit winners of handicaps with weight fines.
I may have to think about hitting horses that lose on purpose with weight fines.
Will have a look at the list.

Thanks Scott:
PJ Rhodes,
You have two options with the horse.
1. Run over 5f or 6f in stakes race.
2. Keep the horse to six or seven furlongs.
As it stands it wil be pulled out of any 5f handicaps.
Steve

No further than 2m2f or less than 1m6f.
Which horse you want me to look at?
The maiden run must be within two furlongs of any run.
So a 1m6f run in a maiden followed by a handicap run over 2m1f/2m2f would be a no go area.

to be honest steve l thought this was ok? if it had gone from 7f to 5f then no but with a 6f run in the middle l thought this was ok. RRich said 2f diff so a 6f horse could run at 7f and 5f ? just how l understood it

No, not a chance, it has to be within 1f of its maiden run which it is not (being a sprinter).
Three different distances for a sprinter is a no go area.

If this was true then I could enter laugh at me now @ 7f this week (Maiden run was over 6f) go 5 lengths clear then trail home last, get a decent drop in the weights then hack up over 5f next time out.

The horse file for Technotronic has a rating of 111 so it won't get balloted out.

Jeronimo maiden run over 17f. So eligible for 19f and 15f.
But important not to jump more than two furlongs at a time.
So 19f to 15f although not disqualification material because maiden was within two furlongs, would receive hefty weight rise probably 20lbs+ if it won.
Sticking to around 2m1f, would be wise if you want to win more than one handicap.
