I've noticed on SO4 that you can only enter a horse in a race that's up to a couple of months away on the declarations screen. I am useless at remembering the schedule or when big races are so is there any way of entering a horse for a race that is, say, six months away? For instance, is it possible to enter a horse in the guineas/derby etc at the start of the season?

Also, I saw a screenshot a few weeks ago where someone had 64 horses in their bredding barn. The capacity in mine has always been limited to ten horses no matter what I do, hence i've had to retire a few very good horses and mares to make way for fresh blood. How do I get over ten horses in my breeding barn?

I don't think you can enter a horse more than 5 or 6 weeks out.
Your breeding barn capacity should be the same as your stable capacity, which should be 100 horses. If you increase your stable capacity at the 'finances' page, then your breeding barn capacity should increase as well. If not, then you may have a bug.
