 APPRENTICES
Hi
New to the site
Im hooked on this game like i am on Football Manager. Im spreading the word to my mates as well who like horse racing.
Anyhow, when do apprentices appear as i never any to choose from

Hello mate,
Click on Retainers to the left of the main screen. You'll get a list of jockeys and apprentices to choose from which you can retain for your rides.

ive done that and im able to retain non apprentice jockeys
Is there not meant to be a seperate list in the table to the left

there are two tables if im correct
1 shows apprentices to the left and one which shows normal jockeys to the right
The table to the left never has anybody in

im confused
am i right in thinking there is two seperate tables. one for apprentices and one for non apprentices
Ive never had an occasion to choose a apprentice if that is the case

so is there a specific date i should be cecking back there,
eg at the start of the season (although i do that)
Or is it random
sorry to keep going on, just fancy hiring an apprentice
