Post My easiest Group 1 winner ever [Video]
Hey,

Just thought i'd share this race because honestly, it blew me away how easy it won. It never even had to push for the victory it just coasted with an impressive win. The time wasn't great, it's ran the distance a lot quicker than this, but the style in which it won for me was one of the greatest i've seen from my own horses.

I bought this horse in an auction by chance, i had a declaration on a race the same day this 3 year old colt must have been put up for auction or entered in a selling race, i noticed it straight away because it was a group 1 winner at the age of 3 and up for sell, but i had noticed it wasn't being ran at it's preferred distance. So i took a gamble and i think i paid like 800k for it, which at the time for me wasn't really a lot of money because i've got a big stable and through potentially seen as "cheating" betting on my horse in an awful race and putting millions down on it, i've been able to make really good profit and build my stable up to the point where i feel i have too many horses! But i entered the horse in the 1m2f Breeders Cup Classic and it won, it's won every Group 1 race but most of the time it's been challenged, then it pulled up in 2 races in a row, and after the 2nd pull up, it was out injured for around 160 days. It came back and its first race was in a Group 3, it won it but not at all comfortably. Then entered the Breeders Cup Classic as mentioned before and won it, it never really blew me away, but i had declared it for the Tokyo 1m2f Japan Cup Dirt i figured it would be fatigued and struggle to win. Its odds never really showed value so i never bet on it, as it started at Evens. I personally thought fatigue would be a massive hindrance to the horses race, but i was really shocked by how it won the race. I've never seen such an easy Group 1 win before in my time, apologies if this happens a lot and it isn't impressive, i just thought it was and as a result thought i'd post it. Hopefully you don't piss on my parade :P

That was pretty awesome - the horse never even came off the bridle.

I'd kill for a good early pace horse :(

Apologies for the video quality, when recording it.. it looked good, but was like 1 gb. So somewhere from original recording to putting on youtube it seems to have gone tits up!

Yeah he loves to lead a race from start to finish, and as you said, i was shocked that in a good G1 race he never came off the bridle, and then he kinda pulls him up a bit to let the others catch up, he ran it in 2:8:37, his fastest is 2:6:32 over this distance. I kinda wish he pushed really hard to get a faster time to see his real potential. He's only 4, so next season hopefully he is an even better force. This and a horse i bred myself named "Kauto Pwn" advised distance is 1m, i run him at 6f and he doesn't lose a race either and she's a 4 year old mare. This 2 are definitely going to be breeding together and hopefully produce a horse of similar stature!

Is it possible to get a screenshot of Kauto Pwn?

She's 5 sorry, so i will probably retire now, i'll see how she does in dubai as a 6 year old.

Also, i just took a look at the race records, the horse in the video Majhub, he has the fastest record for over 1m3f, so maybe next season there is even more to come from him! I don't know if i'd want to risk 1m4f though when he should win me 1m2f in dubai for big money.

Also this is my next big horse i think, also another horse i bred myself.

Meyden was pretty spectacular for me! Wins over 1m2f, 1m4f, 1m1f, 6f and 1m! Won over 11 million from the first big meet to start my season off. Plus, i sold 1 of my 6 year olds and won £9,000,000 from betting. Cannot wait to see what my 6 2 year olds achieve this season, some look pretty tasty!

I used fraps, the actual quality of the video is either 1080 or 720, but when using the windows movie maker option to upload to youtube, it seems quality was lost.. Bit of a shame, but can't be bothered with re-doing it! Fraps might also be quite useful for your APO'B vids Paul. If you download the free version, it has the watermark of fraps on it, let me give you the link to the version i downloaded without it. https://rapidshare.com/#!download|769p5 ... FF64F5|0|0

Really good bit of basic kit, might make a montage of my best races/horses as i'm working nights tonight and working monday 5am straight through to tuesday 7am. 22 hours of nothing to do!

I was struggling to find her races for 6f, so been putting her in 1m, leads all the way and then loses by a nose and finishes 2nd, most of the time to one of my own horses..

I have 13 group 1 winners from the age of 3-5. Looking forward to seeing how the next batch of 2 year olds do. Especially the ones from the same parents.
