 Re: PRE-ORDER SO5
The reason I havent ordered FM12 is because of SO4, and considering I have owned every FM game for the past 10 years that says quite a lot about how good SO4 is!

 Re: PRE-ORDER SO5
Yes, I want to preorder So5 and I want to start playing at 26.04. 00:00:01 But to be serious: The SO-series is definitely worth much more than £20. If I divide the prize through the hours of fun: it is unbelieveably cheap. Big companies? I loved football manager games, too. But the last 2 of them I bought were almost unplayable.

HurricaneRun wrote: Nice to see the huge excitement for this game though - definitely more hotly anticipated than SO4 which just goes to show that the series is going from strength to strength and I think Mark deserves that for all of the effort he puts into the games. Maybe EA sports will be offering him daft money in a few years time haha I hope not. As Neves alluded to, the big companies don't (appear to) care about what their customers think or feel. Out of the big boys, Sports Interactive and Sega seem to be the best with their long running Championship Manager/Football Manager series. The independant/one man companies are the ones who care. They have it right. They know the customer matters and they do all they can with their limited resources to bring out the best product they can.

 Re: PRE-ORDER SO5
SO4 is certainly the most time sapping game I have played on for many years, and I have played a LOT of games!

 Re: PRE-ORDER SO5
HELLO AGAIN - I'M BAAAAAAAACK! As promised, I'm back for the SO5 release! However, does it come out Wednesday night/Thursday morning (i.e. Midnight) like Football Manager, since you all have started talking about it, is released online? Or do we have to wait until the daytime when Mark's up, ready and available to upload online for us minions to purchase and download? Just so I know whether I should stay up with my card by my side or go to bed and get up in anticipation

Just so I know whether I should stay up with my card by my side or go to bed and get up in anticipation Usually we have to wait for Mark to be up, showered, breakfasted, checked his emails, updated facebook status, second breakfasted, double checked everything is well with all family, friends, pets and associates, then he does last minute final checks that the game is ready and it'll be released. If I'm correct I believe it was around the middle of the day for SO3 and about 2pm for SO4 (wow I need to stop playing this game and get out more! !) ((no comments needed on this final statment! ) I cannot wait and I would rather Mark was live and kicking and made sure everything was as perfect as possible before he releases it sometime on Thursday.

Ha ha, I think he'll get himself all washed, fed and looking pretty before releasing his most anticipated game ever! That's what I'd do anyway. I'm so excited, I have a massive essay to do which is in for monday but I can see some serious procrastination going on tomorrow and Friday and Saturday and Sunday and Monday... Ha ha!
