yes Paul it is 6 but there is a problem with the tranfers when u get so many in the tranfer list it dont go up or down, so the last horses u tranfer u cant find them.
Sorry if u cant understand but when u tranfer so many u will know what i mean.

One thing you could check is if the file is read-only. Right click the file and check properties.

Are any of the details in the default schedule incorrect, as I double checked all the distances, prize money etc? Or is it just that you wanted to customise a few races with your own preferences?

i have noticed you can edit anything in showcase file but dont change the name of a race that makes it crash

i just changed the autum listed stakes to a 1m4f 2yo g1
and the silver tankared to a 1m6f 2yo g1

and worked perfect

i am a complete novice at this too Simpleminds

if you want to edit the UK flat schedule open showcase_f with notebook
you can find the uk flat schedule here C:/programfiles/so5/data/1
when editing the showcase file make sure you have back up copies before you start.
you can edit distance race type age group sex prizemoney
dont edit name of race or course or date unless you no what you are doing

Race Example
October month of race
8,G1,2,C Furlong distance ,race type,age,sex
200000,M prize money
Doncaster course
Racing Post Trophy name

this is one race i changed

before
October
8,L,2
23000
Pontefract
Silver Tankard Stakes

after
October
12,G1,2
1000000
Pontefract
Silver Tankard Stakes

so i have changed the Silver Tankard to a g1 race over 1m4f for £1,000.000 prizemoney

Copy Your Showcase_f File and put it somewhere safe
in case you make mistakes hope it helps

I thought the month was on the bottom so in your example, October would refer to the race above the one you listed. Am I wrong?

Yes, the month is at the bottom, but in the showcases file the month is really only there as a guide.
