 Re: ART MONEY OPTION
Hi all, just joined up to the forums. Long time Starters Orders player but never been involved in the league. Having read this thread, I think I'll happily continue with the single player game which is great. I have no intention of playing fairly against a bunch of cheaters I've never cheated in the game. It would ruin it for me. I make decent money from betting by studying the form and watching races which is how it should be in my opinion. For me, that's the skill in the game more than the training. Using your judgement to pick out winners is harder and more rewarding than waiting until your expensive horse that you bought with cheat money is fit enough to run for a big race.

 Re: ART MONEY OPTION
to be brutally honest i feel that this isnt an area for debate........ no amount of money is going to give u a superstar all you need to be really on your feet is about 2 million and you can make that from doing what real trainers do ......... run your horses but make it as difficult as you can for the jockey to win via instructions and when they lost a few low level races and command a bigger price then go all in on them ....simples once you made a couple of mill then focus on number one .........BREEDING some superstars and you can consistently turn a profit each year ............... at the moment i only have 3 horses in my stable and i am leading trainer every season on money earned

 Re: ART MONEY OPTION
wasn't too impressed when i found I couldn't use it but it made me work harder and play the game as it should be played, seven seasons in now got £26M by breeding and selling horses. So going to say art money should not be included

 Re: ART MONEY OPTION
I think it'd be better if it was included. As people have said, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. Personally I feel like I'v just wasted a few hours of my life analysing heritage handicap form on a computer game - I don't enjoy this aspect of the game, I just want to breed/train/campaign my horses. It's also pointless in that it's not hard to win money on the game (even without ctrl alt del which I'm not using at the moment) it just makes it a pain for the first couple of years (I won £25 million but spent it all at the pre season auction - now I'v gotta go gambling again). Once I'm 'set' in the game then money won't be a problem ever again, so you're literally only making the game harder for a few seasons. On a side note, I'v just piled millions on 2 favourites in a row that both got pulled up injured... just my luck

I like to play the game at a macro level, playing it very fast, and I find that the ctrl, alt, del method is slowing me down and time consuming. Mark should have taken both methods out if he wanted to produce a totally honest game. I understand for new players coming to the game, it may take the realism out of it. But you dont have to use artmoney if you dont want to.

 Re: ART MONEY OPTION
How do you make millions on a single bet? When I bet it resticts me on amount, I can't put all of my money on a bet.
