 Re: An honest opinion
Capitals work in the game too of you hold shift down as you type the letter you want in capitals. You just have to type slowly otherwise the game doesn't pick it up.

 Re: An honest opinion
I think the schedule is outstanding and a really big improvement on last year, but I do know what HF is saying. The game has certainly improved but im not convinced by the 'new' stats or at least in the way they are portrayed in the game. The potential ability bar is very useful and does appear to correspond to ability in the CK which is good but in an ideal world I think they should either be simplified or made more apparant when it comes to the race. Overall though I certainly have no bones about paying £20 for such a greatly detailed game which I will no doubt be playing in the majority of my spare time until the release of SO6!

Oooh, that's weird... When I type my stable name in it capitilises the second letter, when I press enter to save it it makes it a lower case letter again...

 Re: An honest opinion
I am enjoying SO5 and the NH side is a big step up from SO4. Really getting into that now. Like the "adding buildings" bit to your stable and the turning the horse out to grass option is very useful. Its a big improvement from SO4 and I enjoyed that (and SO3). Good work!

 Re: An honest opinion
Right here is the way to get capital letters into your stable name. 1)Right click on stables.dat which is located for the UK game in at c:program files\starters orders 5\data\12)Click on properties, then click on security tab, click on Edit which is circled, click on users(also circled), tick the full control box underneath allow(circled), click apply and ok. That's image 1 completed. 3)Now to the below image, left click on stables.dat which is circled 4)This brings up the other image below, scroll down to the NO NAME FARM salisbury, Wiltshire then edit it to whatever you want as you can see I have edited mine to Eastfield Farm, Scarborough,North Yorkshire, then click on the exit button which as we all know is the X in the top right hand corner of any folder this should automatically save it to the game and you are done. 5)Please note that the first NO NAME FARM is for save slot 1 and the others are for save slot 2 etc, so if your save game is in slot 3 then you would edit the 3rd one down, probably would have to start a fresh game for this to take effect. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!

 Re: An honest opinion
You legend, thank you. I've been anal about that second word capitalisation since SO4, so much so that I had to make do with a one word stable name to avoid it! Now the world is my oyster!
