Post Injury prone horses....
Anyone owned a horse that is seriously injury prone? I've got one that has managed to get itself injured in 3 of the 4 races it has contested - and the last injury was career ending!

Brutal.

What do you mean by career ending? Did your head lad suggest to retire it??

Yeah, the horse had Luxations and the head lad told me not to persevere with the horse and to retire it. You don't get the option for a vet's analysis and there is a '?' where usually you are told the length of time the horse will need to recover.

Not nice in the game if it happens to you, but a nice extra touch of realism to an already great game.

One of my horses got injured during it's 2nd race for 4 weeks, raced it again 2 months later and it was pulled up and has luxations keeping it out for 12 weeks, think I may just get rid of it and save myself the hassle of it

Just had this happen to me injured in 3/4 first races. Got the same message, stuck him out to field, hes fit to race for now.. If he has another season the same i'll just retire him. Bit frustrating really, he dominated the maiden he ran in first of all, and he cost me 1.3KK

Didn't play SO4. Had SO3 and have now upgraded to SO5, but never in SO3 did I have a horse that got injured between races. It wasn't even during a training session. It was during heavy intensity training but still had never seen a horse get injured without actually being ran by the user. I promptly sold the horse since it seems to be injury prone and not that impressive to begin with.
