I am into my 6th season in the owners game mode and have a decent string of horses. However none of my owners ever send me new horses from their other stables even when i'm there number 1 trainer. Does anyone else have this issue or are people actually getting owners to send them additional horses?

Don't think they do unless they come up as a new training enquiry.

Seems a bit of a flaw that owners move horses from you to there other trainers but don't do the same for you.

i had same problem untill i read about it on here if u entry a good horses and win the day before open day u get new trainer i got 3 new trainer yesterday

Whens the open day?

I'm now 8 years trainner, have 85 horses in training from a number of owners. Never had a 2yeraold at the start of the season.
In my mind this can be fixed. It makes sense if one of your owners has new horses and you are his number one trainner to ask you to train them or at least most of them.

Another thing when play trainner mode is that you cannot have new horses unless you do an open day.
This is unrealistic because we all know that horses come and go from a trainner depending mostly from results.
What i suggest is that an owner can ask you to train a horse via a message when your stable is in form or you win a big race.
This also can be fixed in a future update.

Also when you have an open day, it is random if an owner asks you to train his horses or not. For example if you save your game in the open day - date and see the next day if owners have interest and then you close the game without saving and get back to the open day you will see different results. Anyway this is a tip to have horses.

SO5 is the best game of the series by far and it is right what Mark said that trainners mode is what you call progress.
I hope he finds some time for an update. I will be greatfull

There is a thread titled SO5 within the development forum where some of us are brain storming ideas and suggesting improvements to the training game. You might want to add your ideas to that as well

Once the game has had all its patches and majority of the bugs ironed out, Im sure Mark will develop the owners side much more. I think nearer the time if we compile/think of ideas then they will be put into the game. Personally this is the side of the game im really looking forward too
