Just a bit of fun really. I've just bred a mare in the BB that cost £1060000 to breed with. And I guess she produced an ok colt. Nice but not spectacular.



Now this one cost me all of £77000 and is definitely one of my better results.

£980,000 to visit a stallion who has won 5 x G1 2 x G2 1 x G3.

He is also the one i posted about running 2nd in 1 breeders cup race over a mile before winning the next over mile and half!

Had 3 mares covered and just got them into main stable, stats nowt special tho.

I've never really focused on price or how many G1's a horse has won. I used my old method of going by winning time posted depending on ground condition.

And still a very valid method Thunder. Your posts on breeding for SO4 as far as I'm concerned is required reading if one wants to breed great horses for both CK and the game IMO. But I'm sure you have many refinements to the method which through trial/error/experience give you an edge .

As I said in the first post just a little harmless fun. There are many variables I look at to pick game horses to breed with. In an ideal world I'd breed everything in the barn and have the time to test every foal out but of course that's simply not possible. Once in awhile I pick a horse and realise it may be the most expensive one in the barn that year.

In a way Mark has built a fascinating game - there are so many strategies one can use to breed.

When breeding mine. I have many with full or nearly full potential just need to find battling qualities and im sorted.
