Post Sharing CK Horses.
I have already put up a few of my decent horses for others to test in CK. (I know people have DL them  )
Is there interest in people perhaps doing some sharing/testing? League doesn't start for months so some early swaps and testing might be fun

It will be interesting to see what times people are coming up with. Strangely I have a couple of horses around the 10f-12f mark who are more or less getting to the standard times for last year? At the other end of the scale I am way off with my sprinters & milers although that is what I would have expected starting from scratch again and I can slowly see the times being chipped away.

I have just about got enough horses to split my games up now into certain distances & when i did that last year I found big improvements, so I am hoping that is the case again this year! :D

I initially started the game with a claiming schedule I created, then bought every single good horse I could for 5-10 seasons and collected them in a transfer pool.
I then breed the best horses as I could see their stats, I've since then been sifting my best in a couple of 60 season games only concentrating on 8f maximum. I have 4yo's running around 1.38 @ Ascot, I totally concur I can see the chipping away of times now. I want sub 1.36 one day(another 100 seasons!!)

I certainly don't mind doing some testing though to be honest I'm still at the stage of breeding and getting the combination of stats I want. I had a HD crash and needed to reinstall my game. Unfortunately I didn't have a back up of my dat files on my work PC, just the horse files for CK testing (well it's a work PC and I wouldn't want someone to find too much evidence that I'm playing games though it's mostly over lunch/break times). I've had to restart breeding and I thought I'd start with the 10-16f mark as I had been doing sprinters till the crash and will redo them at some point. Believe me when I say the game files are now backed up in triplicate

FWIW I ran your horses through the CK against the horse files I had a few days ago just to see. IIRC and please correct me, you're off league standard times on the horses I downloaded.

I'll simply refer you to a previous post

That's where I'd gotten too for the 1m and under distances and where I'd expect to get to again once I start breeding those distances again.

Of the current batch I'm doing between 10-16f I've really only been testing 3 yr olds at 12f and at that stage I'm running off league standard pace by 0.5s. I think at 4/5 yrs of age they probably would be around league standard and of the one I did bother running to the end of his 4 yr old season that is the case.

I'm more than happy to trial a few horses and post results here if folk post horses to race against or to send the results to you in private if you prefer.

It's not that strange :). Just sheer luck. Within two/three weeks of release I'd accidentally bred a horse that was running league standard at 7f. I do think detailed stats make breeding easier as you can see where you're going quicker.

After the HD crash I bred the horse in the post below between two game breds and this has proven a mainstay for the lines of horses I am breeding at the moment.

I'm not sure what you mean by posting G's. At any rate the times are there, if you can beat them then great :) though those horses no longer exist due to said crash. If you're happy to post the hrs files then I'll run them against the ones I have from the work PC. Or feel free to post the best CK times you have and I can see if I can beat them or not.

Haha I think your right!

Having said that, because I have been 'restructuring' I havent actually bred from the couple of very decent ones I have, so hopefully a few more will pop up then :D
