 Re: Which 2yo to keep
I tend to use some of them in maidens and the ones that dont do well i just get rid of them.

 Re: Which 2yo to keep
Personally I would run them all at least 3 or 4 times as some of them will gradually improve whilst some will be at their best from the start (although the potential ability bar is a good guide to that). I have had average 2yo's turn into good 3yo's and excellent 2yo's turn into average 3yo's. As you produce more and more crops of 2yo's you will get a feel of which ones will go on.

If they have similar preferred distances, then try them against each other on the gallops to see which ones perform best.

 Re: Which 2yo to keep
Breed about 40 a season. Trial them all in the Ck around late July. Helps me decide who goes for group races and I bin about 6 at the end of the season. ( sprinters and milers who trialled badly )

 Re: Which 2yo to keep
ck is the race builder. Just export all the horses ( I don't export stayers at 2 as I only run them once for a handicap mark ) and then run them all against each other over different distances. 5,6,7,8 and 10 furlongs. My top horses in the trials normally win the group 1's

Another slow player here too Bill, makes the game for me - immerse yourself into an alternate reality! It gets to the point where you have a real understanding of the game horses as well as your own.

Furthest I have ever played is 7 seasons in SO4. What is the rush.
