Just wondered how many people would actually play the owners mode if everything got fixed and it was in a much playable state.

its a great addition i would play it if we could still breed and export horses
as i play the game now mainly for the lge the owners mode is not for me at the moment

Pity this poll is just stuck in here as most purchasers of SO5 probably don't use the forums.
And unfortunately the league seems to take priority which is a shame as it is totally unreal playing about 50 seasons just to get monster horses.

It's a brilliant theory but I'm not sure if it could ever be made playable. The best sort of substitute idea that I've heard is being able to delegate certain silks to different horses in your stable. I think this would add to the realism and you could still keep your good class horses rather than training 30 rated scrubbers for owners who overrate them.

It would defo be playable, because it is the realistic part of SO because in real life you train horses for the owners if the horses are crap then there crap its upto the owner what horses you get, so for me this is the way its ment to be.

I think being able to name the 2yo's that you get and seeing a breeding line for all the horses would make this mode better, I like to see my named horses run.

the lge takes very little priority Bill no improvements for lge trainers in so5 its very very time consuming

Hello PJR ,I am not complaining about the game really I agree itis the best Racing game by a long way and I love playing it. Just trying to support owner mode. I like to keep it as near to reality as possible, that is why i am not into league play.

It would need a lot of tweaking and several improvements to make it appealing enough for me to consider playing an AI owners game to be honest.

I would put a twist on owners mode
i would like to play as a owner choose trainers jockeys and manage everything be able to buy horses involve breeding etc
instead of the AI owners

would love a JP Mcmanus mode

I really hope that the owner mode gets some much needed loving.

It's a great idea which fell a little short, but can be salvaged into a great optional game mode if Mark has time.

Well mark did say that there would be problems at first as it was an experimental thing, which imo has worked out well but just needs improved and fixes. i really hope mark focuses on this, as it has the potential to do well.
