Post Re: 2 yr old standard times in ck
p.s those are not standard times above i dont think that was ever done they are just my own PB's

i no in so4 5F i hit 58 secs with a 2yo in ck it won qiueen mary in lge so i am way off my so4 times

have not done any work with my 2yo just exported my best performers in game

what i have learnt from last year go with your most consistant not your quickest

i had a freaky quick 5f 2yo last year who was quickerthan anything else but performed poorly in lge but my most
consistant 5f 2yo had a very good season

how i trial
once i have a good group ready to trial say 15-30 i trial them over 15 races but set a qualifying time
eg. 5f 100.30 if i get a trial that times say 100.44 i dont score it as a trial i just go again
you get the odd slow time and you dont really want that result because some of your less consistant horses will score decent point in slow races and you really dont want that

i come up with qualifying time by doing a few trials to find my best time then usually add 0.15 secs to the time and that sets
qualifying mark

i then use a point system to find out my most consistant top 5 placers score points

i award points like this
1st 6 pts
2nd 4pts
3rd 3pts
4th 2pts
5th 1pts

at the end of my trials i count up the total points and i end up getting my most consistant
the cream will always rise to the top this works for me takes a bit of time but you only really need to do in depth trials when you
have a good group of them

i also trial new horses at end of each season but dont keep score if they are decent i will keep them for serious trialing later

hope it helps (any1 else do something differnent i woud like to hear how others do it)

As a new trainer I really wouldn't worry too much about where you are with your horses. Read what you can about breeding and using the ck to see the results and help with future breeding. Dont keep or breed with horses that are no good in the ck.

I've improved my stable a lot over the last 2 weeks but I think thats enough for me. Got to have a life still!!

I've been in Vietnam for 2 months and since my girlfriend went back home to work I've played the game too much. So time for a break and however I do in the league thats how I'll do.

My girlfriend loves monkeys, maybe we'll drop in next year!

yes i have found that too you have to pull away from it
it can take over i got away last weekend with the family and so5 and the lge seemed not too important in reality
i like you keith put in too much time for 2 or 3 weeks but when i saw how far behind i already was i thouight no more just a few bits of
tweaking and stick with what i have got because to catch up would take a month playing 12- 15 hours a day and that aint for me

you are not wrong Hemz the amount of time needed is too great i really hope mark looks at making trialing and exporting more simple in so6 and add new features for lge trainers

you just become a zombie robot after a while training for the lge
i got to the point were i just clicked past races to cram in seasons fast
