Slightly confused by this: http://www.play.com/Games/PC/3-/3553025 ... tails.html
Doesn't seem to make sense- releasing an older version of the game for pc when you can already get it anyway? And being sold on multiple websites at £9.99- half the website price?

Focus Muti-Media are releasing a CD-ROm based version of Starters Orders 4 on their budget label.

Obviously Starters Orders 5 is the current version and it makes sense to drop the old game to budget.

It's similar to the John McCriricks release (which was a rebranded SO1). A retail release will bring increased exposure and hopefully new players to the series who would have otherwise never found the game. It's been close to ten years since JMSO CD release so makes sense.

The version they are releasing contains no US racing at all. Apart from that omission (and some very fuzzy course images) it is the same (as Starters Orders 4 that was available here).

Mark could you please help me- I've put up a post on technical support as I've spent hours trying to fix this issue.
I hope this does bring more people to the game- though will mods be irrelevant for it as it is on a disc?
